Sky Sports presenter Kirsty Gallacher has been banned from driving for two years as she blames the 'stress of divorce' on being three times the drink-drive limit.
She left the bar in a taxi at around 3am, keeping her red BMW X4 parked outside.
But returned in an Uber cab to pick up her car, shortly after 10am.
Gallacher was arrested in Eton, Berkshire, after witnesses saw her driving erratically at around 11am.
Officers tracked her BMW using CCTV and 'smelt alcohol' when they approached her.

For her to be driving erratically surely she must have had a drink before getting into the car??

that's the trouble in Eton - you get in a right mess.
a ten to eleven pint night adds up without her having one in the morning.

True ftp. Her lawyer in court described her as a young lady. She's in her 40s and her gender should be irrelevant.
What interests me is how many of us are over the limit the morning after... 8 hours and she was 'driving erratically'. I get that we can have alcohol in our system after a night out but surely she must have had a swig between 9 and 11 am??

off course your average working man/women are subject to random drug/alcohol tests with zero tolerance,how many broadcasters do you think are subject to such tests after a liquid lunch etc,its no common place on construction sites etc for lads either to turn down weekend work or stay of the drink at weekends
I agree casemoney, about 10 years ago my mate got done for a very similar reading and he got 6 months custodial, never been arrested before.

It wouldn't even be reported. How many people do you think appear for drink driving in courts on a daily basis and how often do you see Sky reporting Joe Bloggs gets arrested for drink driving?

Aye. It must have been the first time it ever happened. No one has every been arrested for drink driving with kids in the car either.
My main 2 hates. Animal cruelty is one, and speeding or driving while under the influence is another.
