Weirdly I can watch ITV 'as live' on the few occasions I've wanted to, but for a few weeks now I've been unable to watch any 'archived' programmes as part of the 'catch-up' process, whether it's a recent or older prog.

When I log in and try to play a programme I get a message to 'refresh the page' but whatever of their 'troubleshooting' tips I've tried, there's still no joy. Never used to be this way. Was always able to catch up on the few ITV progs I liked without any problem.

Anyone else been getting this, and found a solution?

Come on, let's have no pretending you don't occasionally watch ITV. At gunpoint.

Surely someone must be having this tech issue?   I've altered nothing on my browser or ISP before or since this tech problem arose.

Purely in the interests of science, I have logged into ITV Hub and am watching The Opening Show from Glorious Goodwood. It works.

Have you tried the usual? Delete browser cache; try a different browser; try incognito or private browsing. Sometimes these sites can get confused by stale cached content.

Thank you Ramruna, I've done all these things you've suggested and it still won't play the old archived programmes, even though 'live' play is fine. Never used to have a problem with any of it.

Looks like I will have to contact the blighters myself.

regards etc

Try changing your postcode.

If my mother was correct, then ITV viewers are restricted to that sector of the population which sociologists classify as "common". If  your area contains little in the way of social housing or Premier League footballers, then you may find that online access to ITV has been blocked.
