there's some good guys on youtube that stream high stakes live .. Rocknrolla 's worth a watch .. a true degen though he often runs up 5-10k then blows it all on a few spins of Roulette 

Sometimes have to put 20p in a slot to access public toilets. What a game that is, haven't won a bean so far.

It's funny how you should comment first on my thread Mc Moonbeam as I have been reading some of your old threads from years ago about some of the situations you've had like whether or not to move abroad, travelling etc. Did you end up doing any of that may I ask? ...I also watch rocknrolla on a regular basis and I'm sure I've seen you comment on twitch on his channel as well

I've never been able to understand the attraction of one arm bandits aasbff. Surely you are at the mercy of the pre-programmed chip? Isn't it a bit like roulette, the more you play the more you will lose?

I like the fact you can win a lot from a small stake and can provide good entertainment for a few hours but like I said, only do low stakes now and again.

I never play roulette or blackjack.

No unfortunately i never did the travelling thing but would still like to , life goes so fast you have to do things in the moment
I needed to buy a property while prices were low as had nowhere to live, so ended up buying an apartment & been here 4.5 years now
I also wanted to see how the whole poker thing ended up & the game is dead now so hardly play any more
though i'm looking to try & sell & move on again soon , so options are open again , just don't think i'd be much good at travelling alone permanently but this country is the pits now so am looking into it all again & would still like to live on a boat someday when all the crazy gambling's died down a bit

It is nice to own a place though & know where your bed & food is so might buy a house & then just travel around & rent it out , life's too short so what's there to lose

though the slots guys are good , but bare in mind they get special rollover bonuses to stream from the casinos they promote!

I play now & again but not much as don't really trust myself to make a decent profit playing slots .. if it was that easy everybody'd be doing it .. though they don't really seem too **** & people do win big

You've stopped playing completely now? Didn't you used to do it for a living? I play poker online a bit and have done ok over the years but feel it's worse than ever now online (never played live which I'm hoping to do soon)

Yeah i just felt a bit lost & didn't know what to do for the best , life's full of tough decisions & felt if i went travelling i might never buy a place , though what's the point getting rich living alone !

Yes i played for 10 years solid , made some good money , which is why i bought a place , but the game is about dead as can be right now , you're competing with guys from 3rd world countries that know the game very well , and will sit grinding 24/7 for the sake of a few quid to live on , not how it used to be & drives you mentally insane after so long!!!

I wouldn't advise anybody playing for decent money nowadays , you're very likely to lose , it was never easy tbh you had to be like top 10% , but the rewards were there if you were serious enough , but not nowadays , everybody's fighting for peanuts !

Yes i've always been a gambler so bet/trade Football & horses , sometimes few other things , so taking that a bit more seriously now , though is tough without getting banned & limited

Cool, I love betting on the horses/football too. Always done it as my Dad and brother love a punt as well.

The only consistent success I've had on here has either been ir or laying. The moment I punt too much or go on the chase, I get my arse handed to me Gonna take it more serious in the future. It is of course, very hard to make consistent profit at too.

No i made most my money on stars.. did play few mtt's on here back in the day but stars was the big thing so was best to play where the most money was floating around .. plus the rewards etc. used to be very good & i knew who all the pro's were at my level
I was Supernova from 2009 -15 .. was mainly very tough work though

Yes all sports are hard to win at tbh as bookies have the markets mainly spot on .. i was doing ok trading horses to try gain an edge but that's tougher than poker ever was

I get smashed in the face every time i lay ANYTHING so haven't done that in a while now .. just bet to win .. and in running's impossible for me .. hnestly don't know how people get bets on within a cuple seconds thinking time .. the markets are run by BOTS !

Set all my limits at a £1 ages ago, no chance I'll be suckered in to any of those house run games
