Some chit-chatters are even more obsessed by gays than they claim the BBC is. After giving the matter 30 seconds thought, it seems to me the real obsession is with pubs. Eastenders and Coronation Street prominently feature pubs yet in the real world, most people never set foot in them from one year to the next. Pubs or maybe hospitals.

Most people don't watch Eastenders or Corruscating Street !

Is it safe to be hetro in the BBC seems a more pertinent question.

I think the answer is rather obviously: In a big city, yes, in a tiny backwards hamlet, no, in Facts trasngender syrian refugee facility, who knows?
I'm not ghey but I've had ghey men try to chat me up, I wasn't annoyed I take it as a compliment. I just accept this as part of my general awesome attractiveness and move on and went home to the loveless life I had with my wife where we both want to kill ourself, and the only thing stopping us is who gets the dog. This is normal. |

It is safe everywhere to be gay in the uk, bbc just being deflecting the real question. Is it safe to be gay in the middle east ?

They are probably too scared to watch Eastenders. The BBC has a page with links to support numbers for viewers traumatised by Eastenders storylines (which I think means stories). Louise's story -- information and support relating to sexual violence. Sylvie's story -- information and support relating to dementia and bereavement. Bex's story -- information and support relating to bullying. Whitney and Lee's story -- information and support relating to domestic abuse. Last stop: Walford -- information and support relating to PTSD. Michelle -- stalking. Derek -- historical gay sex convictions. and there's more. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/articles/DHjNLq6BdH5wV1p5bJ2ch9/information-and-support |
