Steve Bannon to be sacked !

Apart from Ivanka, is there anyone left working for the president?

Vladimir !

Every late night TV comedian is praying Trump stays, it's like shooting fish in a barrel.

Bannon gone, America's George Osbourne in the making won't be the last we hear from him

Great news

he called Trump's deplorables "clowns", so that was that.

White House chief strategist Steve Bannon is the latest top aide of President Donald Trump to leave his post.

Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders confirmed that Friday was his last day.

Who else has been fired?

Anthony Scaramucci, communications director - 31 July

Reince Priebus, chief of staff - 28 July

Sean Spicer, press secretary - 21 July

James Comey, FBI director - 9 May

Michael Flynn, national security adviser, 14 February

Luvs it ....

Trump himself will soon be added to the ' been fired ' list.

He's had a career saying "you're fired", what do you expect, the exact same thing would happen if we'd made Alan Sugar PM.

The only thing that Trump hasn't fired yet is a Nuclear missile. What a fukcin pantomime.

I have a number of American friends and they are totally embarrassed at what this clown is doing to their country.

Funny thing is, the more ludicrous he becomes the more the Arkansas, Texas, Louisiana, Alabama population think he is the business.

If the Dems had put anyone other than Hilary up, they could have swept the board!

A man of pension age shouldn't have skin tones more suitable for Geordie Shore.

We should get him on celebrity big brother when he gets the boot, I'd watch that! Assuming here will BE a celebrity big brother in the post holocaust world.

FAKE NEWS

Comes to something when Kim Jong Un isn't the craziest leader in the world.

Golf match between Trump and his old man would have seen some scoring!

Steve Bannon, who has returned as head of ultra-conservative website Breitbart News, said he would fight for the agenda that won Mr Trump the election.
"I've got my hands back on my weapons," he said. "It's Bannon the Barbarian."

Will he be more useful to Trumpy now he's back at Breitbart?

That might be right saddo, except that Bannon is likely to be trying to undermine other White House employees he had differences with. Could go either way.

Bannon's health looks suspect....evil corrodes the soul !

he called Trump's deplorables "clowns", so that was that.

What a totally and utterly stupid comment.

He called the people who Trump denounced (KKK, White Supremists, Nazis) etc 'clowns'.

He did not call all the people HRC called 'deplorable' (i.e. the Americans that voted Trump into power) clowns.

Its amazing how the looney left like to make the jump from:

Nazi to
Far Right to
All Right wingers to
All Trump supporters.

Bannon will be able to do a lot more to help America and Trump from outside an official role at the White House.

curious the pleasure it gives me to see that Trump is president, and to hear the whining and the tear stains of the British left.

Him and his repugnant website will continue their precipitous decline.

^ here`s one now.

The only whining going on is coming from the fools that elected a stupid ignorant bigot in the hope that he would make them "great again"

The left are laughing loudly, every day, at the right wing in disarray.

I like him.

so now you know what sort of person I am, I like America.

do I like the British leftists and their constant criticism of Trump, and America?
NO, I despise them

maybe I shouldn't do that, but they deserve it.

Dave, did Bannon call anyone who Trump had not already denounced clowns?

Was that Trump today or Trump yesterday?  He can't remember who he called what or why.

Here you are Dave:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7XlYNJ5Z5cI

Dave, did Bannon call anyone who Trump had not already denounced clowns?

The pseuds are unable to contain their fury that such an ignoramous can get the top job while they themselves largely remain nobodies.

"pseuds" lol are you still living in 1980?  No fury here, just laughing as the right collapses as their man in the "top job" can't get anything done except embarrassing himself and his office.  I'm a bit worried that the collapse is happening to quickly.  The GOP might have time to regroup before the midterms.

Notice how the media have dropped the whole Russian narrative now that was proved to be fake.

Moved on to play the race card.

Be interesting to see what they try next week to attack Trump.

It's wonderful to think how many haters get up every day just to see how much they can insult one man.

The Russian "narrative" still ticking along nicely, tnks.  Donny jnr going to jail unless daddy pardons him.

Dave, what for? Talking to a journo that had nothing?

I was always told by my dad if you are going to make excuse not to do something pick one reason and stick to it.

The anti-Trump losers have had:

1. Trump is racist.
2. Put out a tape about Trump and women.
3. After elected say HRC won the popular vote.
4. Try and get electoral collage to not vote for him.
5. Russia fixed the election for him.
6. He is crazy trying to sort out NK.
7. He is crazy for standing up for America against TTP.
8. He is crazy helping America getting out of Paris Accord.
9. He is a Nazi even though he criticizes the KKK, Nazis etc.
10. Barcelona is his fault because the attack was a copycat of the one in America.

Have I missed anything?

The unblinkered American public saw through the fake news before the election and see through it now.

Wait until his next approval polls, unless he finds someone to bomb to get some affection from his needy daughter, they are going to break all records.

From yesterday. As I'm writing nothing new.

He makes his staff present him with good news about himself twice a day. If there aren't enough stories, they have to fill the folder with pictures of him "Looking strong".

He had a cabinet meeting in which before business starts, every person in the room had to give a 30 second speech about why he's great.

He has looked into seeing if it's possible to make his friends, family and self, pardoned in the event it becomes necessary.

A proven pathological liar, too many examples to list.

Even a Republican Senator (Bob Corker) from Tennessee has said he's placing the US in peril.

The thing about the Pershing and Pigs blood etc, is complete fabrication and urban myth, which can be proven anywhere - look at Snopes.

He hasn't passed a single bill through the house or senate yet, let alone within 100 days.

The only thing he's managed to do is get a new supreme court justice (Gorsuch), and he only managed that by changing the system and using the 'nuclear option'.

Concerned about Statues? When Trump tower was built, he was asked by the Historical society to not touch the 2 important statues of great historical value within the building that was on the site until they could be removed. He didn't wait, and ripped the lot down anyway.

In White house briefings any advice has to be on ONE page, with as many pictures and graphs as possible. This by personal request.

He withdrew from the Paris accord.

The list can go on and on.
This isn't "leftie propaganda" before anyone starts all that again.
Everything listed can be verified, feel free to look.

The mad loyalty and fandom of the very strange and stupid man is beyond comprehension.

stickyvicky. All crap.

Swamp more full than ever. Cabinet is full of former Goldman Sachs CEOs and other billionaires.
Comey fired for not professing loyalty to Trump before country!!! He made the mistake of putting his country 1st.
Anything he doesn't like is called "fake media". Doesn't make it fake. The media supporting him is the real fake stuff.
Dow Jones improvement is off the back of removal of environmental and H&S checks, which helps only the boards and not the country or the world.
Employment policies are Obama's. Trump hasn't changed anything yet, but tries taking credit for it! Working wage hasn't increased.
As for NATO. He embarrassed himself, demanded it, but no-one new has paid up. World leaders smirking at him as he spoke. All paying countries paid before he was around.
Syria isn't sorted out, and any advances are certainly not down to Trump. When a Navy seal was killed in Yemen after he sent them in, he blamed the Generals.
Banning Muslims has helped nothing, he still accepts Saudis (wahhabis) or any people from countries he has business dealings/interests with.
Trade deals are made all the time - I reckon $110 billion of arms to Saudi - which he was warned could make him complicit in war, isn't good. At least it's what he boasted he did. There seems to have been no actual deal signed.
Which Tax dodgers now pay tax? I don't know of any.
Mexicans aren't coming because he's a fruitcake. Apart from the ones who work at his various properties!

There is NOTHING positive about Trump

Their is, people who have been educated to think a certain way are throwing toys out of the pram.

That is pretty good for me.

InsiderTrader I have no idea if you are just another troll on here or not. It has become very hard to tell. There is no dropping of the 'Russian narrative'. It is an ongoing inquiry. I know Trump got a lot of votes because people would rather vote for him than Hillary - even die hard Dems will admit her candidacy lost it for them. However, now they have their man in office - a billionaire 1%er who wants to look out for the little man haha. Answer me this - why have the Reps achieved next to nothing? They have the POTUS, the Senate, the House and the Supreme Court!

Simple answer to that.

The Republican establishment never wanted Trump as their candidate.

They dont want him as their President. They will do all they can to neutralise his agenda.

Why would the political elites want someone that is trying to smash up the cosy international agreements that benefit their multi-national backers at the expense of small/medium sized Americian business?

It is the people that voted Trump in not the GOP.

It's laughable to think that he is somehow on the outside though. He wants what is best for Trump investments. I totally agree that the Dem/GOP grip on US politics is making life worse for a lot of Americans. However, I am going to disagree that billionaire Trump is the answer to the average American.

That is an interesting point.

Do you think Trump is a set up by the establishment then?

Put in someone who will make false promises and not want/be able to follow them so that no one will dare stand up against the establishment again?

I am not saying it is impossible but it seems unlikely to me.

Good question IT. I think the GOP did their best to have a candidate that wasn't Trump, but even though I disagree with practically everything Trump does and stands for, there is no doubt he ran a very effective campaign. For the GOP it was a question of lose to Clinton and lose the POTUS again or have Trump as their candidate and have the GOP in the WH, albeit someone who would be far less predictable in his actions. For instance, the debacle over changing Obamacare. Trump honestly did seem surprised that something like that could be so hard to repeal and replace. However, if he had some political experience he would have known that the political cogs can move glacially even when you hold all the positions of power. The GOP had 7 years to get something in place that could be passed instead - they failed.

The US political scene does indeed need a kick up the backside, but for me someone like Trump is not the answer. He is just in the office to advance Trump holdings. He even manages to make George Bush Jr seem presidential.  I genuinely would like to see someone/some party come along and look out for the ordinary Americans-  that would indeed make America great again - this billionaire is not it.

Bizarre, the next President  will be a billionaire.

Maybe.

I do think Trump is genuine but he obviously has his flaws. He says what he thinks.

It is possible Bannon and Mercer could help push the Americans first agenda from outside the WH.

It is not possible to do so from inside due to all the internationalist anti-America operatives inside government.

Ten of thousands of anti-Trump government workers.

Trump has got to do what he can but it will not be easy.

Trump is Putin's puppet....Putin won the election for the maggot.....Putin has the videos of some very nasty deeds !

Mark Cuban or Elon Musk IS?

Grow up Leopard. That whole file was totally and utterly discredited months ago.

No it wasn't !

The only idiots are the ones that think that Trump is anything but a disaster.

Bannon has left to set up Breibart TV.

Which I predict will be a huge success, as Fox drifts to the left. And Fox never did international news, whereas Breibart already does.

Good point.

The media needs a complete overhaul on the way it is set up. Breitbart has been a massive success, one of the biggest successes in recent times, to infiltrate the left wing globalisation of our planet where a majority have little say on its future is only a good thing.

Dave,

The economy is booming under Trump even though the Globalists are trying their best to stop him enacting his policies.

If you have any evidence to prove that Russia dossier was true produce it.

Only a completely gullible minion would believe that any change in the economy at this stage was due to Trump's policies.  The market has jumped because he has promised huge corporate/high earner tax cuts and as yet has proposed no way of financing them other than the standard "build it and they will come/trickledown" nonsense that never works.

Dave are you seriously trying to say policies of cutting globalist inspired regulations and working to cut taxes have had no effect on the USA economy?

"globalist inspired regulations" you mean like allowing businesses to pollute water courses and reviewing the Clean water Act?  Or revoking Obama's fair pay and safe workplaces orders?

I'll give you some free advice IT.  Putting "globalist" in front of everything doesn't win any arguments and just makes you seem utterly obsessed.

Insider Trader is obsessed utterly. He trawled through Charlottesville footage for twelve hours, looking for excuses for the alt-Right. That's right, twelve hours.

very good.

UB,

I watched youtube footage to see what actually was happening before just blindly repeating what the CNN and the BBC were saying due to their anti-Trump agenda.

CNN suggested the Barcelona attack was a copycat reaction to Charlottesville.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qgZRFWJMUgM

Anything to bash Trump with they will.

Here's another "globalist inspired regulation" that Trump is binning.

The bill cancels out a Securities and Exchange Commission regulation that would have required oil and gas and mining companies to disclose in detail the payments they make to foreign governments in a bid to boost transparency in resource-rich countries.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/economy/trump-signs-law-rolling-back...

Why the support for Trump?
Is it just because he's Right-Wing?
Why is this so important to non-Americans?

Surely the fact that he's thick, inept and a compulsive liar should override a desire to see him in power because you need to see 'non-lefism' all over the world.

Well done Dave.

You have are able to read the Washington Post!

Is your other paper of choice the New York Times by any chance?

And you favourite 'news' station CNN?

Studyform,

I am broadly in favour of Trump's proposed agenda of less government, less regulation, less uncontrolled immigration, less taxes, less offshoring by multinationals.

I am not sure he will be able to do much of it though due to the establishment and big business wanting the status quo maintained.

Why do you care about taxes and immigration into the USA though?
Do you care about it in say, Denmark or Canada or Kenya.
I doubt it.
Are you American?
As for you last line. It isn't necessarily everyone else that's wrong about him. It isn't necessarily 'The establishmet'. He's no enemy of big business. It IS possible you know, that he just IS very very bad.

My prediction - He'll get impeached at some point, or have to stand down, then, possibly to avoid prison, will suddenly be found to be ill with dementia.
Within 6 months.

The are no odds on 6 months.

But if you think he will be gone in 4 and half months (by the end of the 2017) the odds are currently 9.8 on here.

The shorten matched was 2.18 (to £2).

If you are convince he will leave before the end of his term the 1.84 odds might attract you.

Why do I care about immigration?

If America can lead the way on this maybe, just maybe the UK will follow and have stronger border controls.

Why do I care about taxes?

I would like to see small and medium sized businesses doing better locally. If he can get his measures through to encourage bigger firms to bring their money home and not hoard it offshore that will be a good thing. Lower corporate taxes for all business with big business actually paying them would be good. At the moment big business pushes the obligation offshore and small/med business pay more to make up the deficit.

US tax on business is completely different to the UK's.
Constant assistance to big business goes right through British establishment from Councils to Government.
Small business has be obliterated for the past 40 years to a point where nearly every high street is deserted and every town has more or less the same shops.
Big business owners are able to take advantage of lower tax for them in the UK.
Some of the worst things the USA has to offer (and it has some marvellous things, I know, I lived there for a while) are adopted in the UK.
The marketing, the actual companies, the relatively poor quality, the striving for profit above all else.
The regarding of staff as a necessary expense that has to be suffered rather than an asset and a means to success, which -here - they once were.

Energy might be better spent lobbying councils and government to allow people to park their cars near small shops, than supporting Trump and how things are in the USA.

Checking on and making sure big companies in the UK pay all THEIR taxes - wherever they're from. If they don't. Kick 'em out, someone else with more scruples will fill the gap.
And
speaking of scruples - Trump has none.

More flake news from the Donald Chump camp ...

You make interesting points SF.

They certainly got the gambling companies to pay their tax with the point of consumption tax which leveled the playing field.

The regulations in the betting industry still benefit the bigger firms.

In fact they love the regulation because with their economies of scale it is easier for them to implement the regulations.

I have one (small) business interest in the USA that manufactures locally (in USA) and would benefit from lower taxes and cheaper costs. I would rather the manufacturing was kept in the USA than moved offshore taking jobs with it.

True Study, I don't know why so many are obsessed with Trump on here. My wife and boy are US citizens so I'll always keep up with politics over the pond.

I am not sure he will be able to do much of it though due to the establishment and big business wanting the status quo maintained. Insider Trading Trump is big business!

If there is a subject I SERIOUSLY know all about it's the regulation of gambling companies, the GC and bookmaking in the UK.

The point of consumption tax doesn't really work because (it is quite possible, allegedly) there is no proof of the amounts of profits on which tax are paid are declared accurately. Hence none of the companies leaving abroad coming back to the UK.

They absolutely benefit the bigger firms to a point where there are fewer the 100 independent betting companies left - down from over 500 just 7 years ago.
I've owned 2 of them. Not any more.

The regulators are hardly necessary, as they are mostly self-propelling and haven't really implemented anything that wasn't being implemented either willingly or by law, before their existence. They are also toothless and will never fully crack down on the big firms, as they work so closely with them and they provide their income.

I really could go on about this at greater length than normal and indeed I have in the past.

The whole tax system is based economies of scale as you say and I agree the leniency shown to the biggest companies is unfair. The nation of small shopkeepers is no more as a result.

This is all about the UK though.
I very much doubt that Trump is really that bothered about it in the US, unless it affects him personally.

Quite interesting to Bannon outside the strictures of Cabinet. He returns to his old position of Propaganda Chief and rabble rouser. Big business and liberals I think are in the ascendant in the Chump Government. I am not sure Chump has any politics save it being about him. The younger Chumps and Kush are probably rich liberals. They will be doing deals to enrich themselves and daddy ewill be proud of them.

I was interested to hear how Bannon described the Nazis, Klan and assorted White Supremacists and Whacko's as Clowns! Their defenders on here like Insiduous Trader I would imagine being Bozo Number One and Crippen not far behind as Red Nose Number 2.

They still defend Clown in Chief Chump. Let us see how Chump governs America....if he can! He doesn't have a clue about American history and even less about American Politic's!

I assume you are referring to me.

Where did I once defend ANYONE engaged in political violence or say that I agreed with any doctrine coming from the mouths of Nazis, Klan and assorted White Supremacists?
