It's one eyewitness who said they were shouting "Allahu Akhbar". So far that has not been confirmed by other eyewitnesses or the police. We'll see.

Possible that people are mixing up eye-witness with a video circulating on twitter of someone shouting 'watch out' in Finnish, which sounded slightly similar to Allah Akbar.

Has Finland fallen in line with most of Continental Europe yet by making up a nice Euro-friendly name and an easily-demolished narrative for the knife nutter?

If it's not too late, I'll suggest Lasse M*hamm*d. Lasse (as everyone knew him)  was a talented 10,000 metres runner, but sadly bullied at school by white Western people, and inevitably leading to his appalling 'lone wolf' actions. Britain probably to blame.

I've been to Turku. It's a charming and friendly little City, and very, very quiet. This must have been really shocking for the local people. Sad

Interior Minister Paula Risikko described the suspect as "foreign-looking" and linked the attack to the murder of 14 people in Barcelona.
Finnish authorities have said, however, that it is too early to describe the incident as terrorism.Crazy

why do they seek to cover up  - is there some sort of 'legal' reason

OR IS THERE AN AGENDA TO PROTECT A CERTAIN GROUP

they don't want one of these 'backlashes' sort of thingy

Police said in a statement: "The act had been investigated as murder, but during the night we received additional information which indicates that the criminal offences are now terrorist killings."
They said the identity of the 18-year-old Moroccan was known, but they have not released it.
At a later press briefing, they said the suspect had arrived in Finland in 2016 and had "been part of the asylum process".

I'm baffled here. Why Finland, have they been involved in unarmed service in Iraq etc?

It's time instead of all these stupid vigils, minutes silence, etc that the people come out in force to protest at all the governments failing throughout Europe to allow this nonsense to take place.  ENOUGH is ENOUGH

Police in Finland say a knifeman who killed two people in the south-western city of Turku on Friday appeared to choose women as targets.

They are treating the attack as a terrorist incident.

The suspect, arrested after being shot by police, is an 18-year-old Moroccan. Four other Moroccans have been held.

The two women stabbed to death were both Finnish. Eight people were also injured, among them a Briton, a Swede and an Italian.

They (plod) said the identity of the 18-year-old Moroccan was known, but they have not released it.

At a later press briefing, they said the suspect had arrived in Finland in 2016 and had "been part of the asylum process".

This attack is being buried by the MSM. It's obvious why..

Asylum seeker - check
Muslim  - check
Targeted women - check

God forbid feminists criticise an Islamic asylum seeker who is misogynistic.

Two more detained today, so six in total now. Finnish police had been warned earlier this year that the main suspect seemed "radicalised".

They think they can reform these people by offering the hand of friendship, Radical Muslims thrive on political weakness.
