Lord Reith will be turning over in his grave if he can hear this excuse for a radio programme. All plugs and sycophancy.

Steve, slurp slurp, grovel grovel, everyone is fantastic and brilliant, Wright and his terrible show in which barely any song title is given unless for plugging it and is unlistenable to.
I have BBC4 extra most of the day now - well, at least after popmaster's finished. The occasional foray to 5 live until it gets too PC and has to be turned off.

How has he kept his job so long?
I'm not sensing many fans.

He was good in the 80's.  His show now consists of factiods and shout outs between the music. I listen to BBC4 most of the day when at work.

You get a point for talking over an instrumental intro/outro, and 2 points if they are still singing.

I have always thought that was deliberate to forestall any listeners taping/recording his programme,sure there is a commercial reason for doing that myself.

In the Smashie & Nicey genre only not as funny.

and doesnt do as much great work for charity as smashey and nicey ( no-one does )

mind you compared to alan carr,lisa tarbuck and the rest of the celebs who think they are DJ"s wrighty a genius

Lisa Tarbuck seems a good egg imo. Bit chatty sometimes but girls do that.
