Are the BBC are taking notice of the torrent of criticism levelled at them for their politic bias?

At least it should give us a break from Trump fake news and anti-Brexit propaganda.

always amuses me on the Pledge when a more liberal panellist is talking a polar opposite view to him and is mid flow, when the camera pans to him and he's sitting there deep breathing, cheeks puffing away like mad, hands strongly clasped dying to find the moment to interject but can't, then when he/she finishes talking someone else quickly takes over and you hear him heavily sighing again lol.

Not at all a nice bloke, shouts down anyone who argues.
Definitely biased.

Listening to Nick Ferrari on his show this morning, I got the distinct feeling that he had one eye on a lucrative job with the BBC the way he was playing down the ant-Muslim views of his callers on the Barcelona atrocities.
He even got in a strong uncalled for attack on Donald Trump at one point. Dead in line with the BBC agenda to discredit the American president.

These media people know where the money is (BBC) and they sure know what it takes to get on the BBC gravy train these days.

Non-stop drivelly Shiite. Day after day.
So by your reasoning, if Trump is pushed out in will be in part because he was discredited by the BBC CrazyCrazyCrazyLaughLaughLaugh
And if he gets the job with them he immediately stops being a Tory sycophant and becomes a "Leftie"

In what way would the BBC have that kind of influence?

You idiots are convinced the BBC is against all that's right, because it doesn't say things just like Breitbart and the Mail.
Any proof - and there is LOADS that it is in fact and always has been, an organ of the government, just totally ignored.
Any proof - again, loads out there that the entire political team is made up of ex (and even current) Tory activists and Tory supporters, totally ignored.

Before you as for evidence crippen, find your own. I've shown it on the forum loads of times. The last 3 times it was removed.

OK Bodil as it's you......
Andrew Neil : He was the editor of The Sunday Times for 11 years. He is the former editor-in-chief and current chairman of the Press Holdings group, which owns The Daily Telegraph. In 1971, he was chairman of the Federation of Conservative Students. worked for the Conservative Party as a research assistant.

Nick Robinson : Robinson was interested in politics from a young age, and went on to study Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Oxford University, where he was also President of the Oxford University Conservative Association. President of the Conservative Party youth group.

Andrew Marr : Was originally a 'leftie student'. A fan of Thatcher and was sacked in 2005 from the Independent at the behest of Alistair Campbell. Inclined to follow whatever suits the people asking him.
A good mate of mine (fully paid up raving Tory) had dinner with him once and Marr admitted to him he was "very much on the side of the Conservatives at this time" (about 3 years ago).

Laura Keunssberg : Her brother is a senior civil servant in the Department for Communities and Local Government. Her sister is a diplomat and was appointed as the British High Commissioner to Mozambique in 2014. Been in trouble on a number of occasions for false reporting of Labour party.
Born in Italy, attended a private girls school, from a well-to-do background. Petitions were raised about her blatant anti-Labour bias in reporting.

Jeremy Paxman : Paxman was educated at Malvern College and St Catharine's College, Cambridge, where he edited the undergraduate newspaper Varsity. At Cambridge, he was a member of a Labour Party club and described himself as a socialist, although in later life described himself as a one-nation conservative. Far less Tory than many of his colleagues.

Evan Davies : Davis began work as an economist at the Institute for Fiscal Studies, and while there he was briefly seconded to help officials work on early development of the Community Charge system of local government taxation (better known as the Poll Tax). MASSIVE advocate of privatisation of national companies and has written books on the subject.

Emily Maitlis : Worked for the Spectator for a while, not much else one way or the other.

David Dimbleby : Bullingdon club member. Which is a start.

Emma Barnett : women's editor for Daily Telegraph. Went to BBC via LBC, went to an independent school, as did......

Nick Ferrari : Even Cameron recommended he stood for London Mayor as a Tory!

Many others don't seem to show much allegiance to anyone. I have never found a single Labour related journalist at the BBC apart from Kirsty Wark, but she seems to be limited to Scotland. Oh and John Pienaar worked briefly for the Guardian 25 years ago.

Mostly though, in the mid 60's (I did have all the details), a meeting was put together to establish the BBC's Bias. Only 2 people turned up. The meeting was written up and its results have stuck ever since. I will get the details of this again, they're with a bloke I know who was working for the BBC at the time.
The perpetuation of the left-wing bias myth suits everyone there if you think about it.

The absolute biggest thing of all.... is that EVERYONE SEES AND HEARS WHAT THEY WANT WHEN WATCHING THE NEWS AND POLITICS ON TV.
When something is said we agree with, we ignore it and nod and say, yeah! that's right!
However when we disagree, we remember it.

AND. People keep confusing Political Correctness and Diversity with Left-wing politics. They are not the same thing at all.
The BBC is COMPLETELY ridiculous when it comes to diversity.

So here we have a list of studyform BBC tories, and the evidence,

Andrew Neil- chair of conservative students
Nick Robinson pres of oxford con association

Andrew Marr- lefties student
Laura Kussenberg- went to a private school
Paxman- went to Molvern collage, member of Labour Party club
Emily Matlass- no evidence
Emma Barnett- went to an independent school
Dimbleby - member of bullington club
And, yes if you can believe it...Evan Davis

Now that is studyforms evidence that the BBC is full of tories
It really is amazing , take a look at the list, no , no he really believes it.

How odd - my last reply disappeared.

Thank you for taking the time. We're not in opposition - both left and right are a waste of space. I welcomed Donald (prime 5* ass) as a disruptor - and am still not worried.  Watching the establishment parasites (fronted by the media) struggling to reattach their suckers is grimly entertaining. The fabled liberal metropolitan international elite (the BBC personified) care only for themselves and act accordingly.

In the brief spaces between drinking and gambling I've been idly botching a new political codpiece.  To date it entails tying a knot in it (over-population is a species killer) and facing the fact that mass migration is a very bad idea (along with most religions). Thank god I'll be dead soon. Popularity is much overrated.

Here we have an example from Roger Mosey former head of the BBC news as to how they approach a story.
He tells how stories are reshaped and sanitised to suit the agenda.

One night on the 10 o`clock news broadcast from a racially diverse part of Britain where the ethnic minority had become the majority
People were asked about how they felt about immigration. Only one white man was interviewed and he said he was perfectly happy with how his neighbourhood had developed
Mosey smelt a rat so he e mailed the reporter
`just wondered did all the people you spoke to think the maj/min racial position was good`

Well said the reporter it was tricky because of the problem of the white population
The people they stopped were fairly rabidly racist, so they were left on the cutting room floor.

I never thought the bbc was left wing.  I think it has an agenda which can be described as 'liberal' in philosophy. Therefore it is pro EU (even getting some funding) and pro refugee, immigration, black, LGBT, etc.  Anything to the opposite is not to be tolerated and must be put forward in a negative light. I thought it was obvious and not left wing.  Anything outside what I would call established trending philosophy is not to be allowed.
Given the public's opposition to immigration and half voting for brexit (as examples) you would have thought these views would be represented proportionally - BUT THEY ARE NOT.  It is  constant bbc propaganda of support for filling the country up, forcing minority interests down your throat (he he) and a pro EU stance.
They do not like anyone rocking this boat.  Look how they treated corbyn and farage for instance.  Not that Sky news is much different.
