I think you will find that, pretty much of, all wine sold in boxes is available in bottles!

All cider, sold in cans, is available in bottles, albeit that it is usually plastic bottles.

So where does draught beer and cider come in your judgement?

In the end it's the consumer's choice, as none of the options are being forced on you!

The silver foil bag inside a box of wine can be inflated to make a handy pillow.

I once went to a Swedish midsummer party where someone came with a 3 litre box of vodka.

It was called Yeltsin vodka.

Unsurprisingly, things got rather messy.

I've never bought wine in a box nor will I ever. I do like a chilly bottle of Aspalls but I wouldn't drink cider from a can, it just doesn't do it for me.

I once travelled to Dunedin to watch the Waratahs play the Highlanders in a Super Rugby fixture. Dunedin is the home of the University of Otago. The next day,Saturday afternoon, the streets and parks of central Dunedin were littered with female uni students sleeping and staggering around SLURPING GOON BAGS it was a wonderful sight.

GOON OF DEATH!!

Goon Bags attached to the Hills Hoist. A rotary clothes line common in Australia.

Spin it and if the silver bag lands in front of you,you are obliged to take a LONG SLURP.

The same could be said about cheese.

I would be interested to know where cheese is attached to a rotary clothesline and said clothesline is spun around like a roulette wheel and where it lands the participant has to eat cheese. Got a youtube link?
