Why do you say they need foreign funds? Do you have any proof of it? Just because someone is gifting out money doesn't mean the receiver needs it. Anyone with a brain will take any free money on offer, regardless of his needs. Make a list of countries that give pakistan foreign aid and you might find something interesting.

As for the nuclear weapons, I dont know how they got them(I do know that the pioneer of their nuclear program got his education in Holland). But if they hadn't they would have been bombed to dust by now. Today they are a nuclear power under China's massive umbrella who has taken over their development projects as they suit them. They literally do nothing, other than accepting free money from Europe and US and doing with it what China tells them to.

I also know that 4 of their nuclear powerplants have been built by China. In total they have 6 or 8 i guess. And there's a good chance China built them all. Its laughable that you think they need the foreign aid that we send them.

Pakistan's economy has been growing rapidly of late but lags behind India. General Zia's coup made a right mess of the country with his combination of religion and nationalism.

None of them need it fxxk em end foriegn aid. There's one or two hospitals here in this country that could do with a few extra bob

Also its an interesting thing to find out how many current and former Pakistani leaders are british nationals. Its like second home to them. Also a favorite country of exile. 'Foreign aid' is called aid to keep the people happy, its just a political payment countries do to others to get their demands met.

Don't we also give 1/4 of a billion aid a year to india ... a country that has a space program?

Maybe we should be giving similar aid to North Korea. So they can divert it to say ... a missile shield or something.

I think the Indian money has finished, or will soon. They haven't wanted to take it for years now but we insisted, probably hoping it would secure some contracts.

We gave four million pounds to North Korea not so long ago
