Going round and round, on loop.....

Never really knew the lyrics till now and so glad I caught up with it.....

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kKP82AZ9zmE

Words are flowing out like
Endless rain into a paper cup
They slither wildly as they slip away across the universe.
Pools of sorrow waves of joy
Are drifting through my opened mind
Possessing and caressing me.

Jai Guru Deva. Om
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world

Images of broken light, which
Dance before me like a million eyes,
They call me on and on across the universe.
Thoughts meander like a
Restless wind inside a letter box
They tumble blindly as they make their way across the universe.

Jai Guru Deva. Om
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world

Sounds of laughter, shades of life
Are ringing through my opened ears
Inciting and inviting me.
Limitless undying love, which
Shines around me like a million suns,
It calls me on and on across the universe

Jai Guru Deva, om.
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world

Jai Guru Deva
Jai Guru Deva
Jai Guru Deva
Jai Guru Deva
Jai Guru Deva

It is a strange phenomenon - that I have verified with other people, that - the last song you heard on the radio, or played on your own music methodology - then sticks in your, "head  all day."

So, do not think you are suffering some mental block - Lady Fay ... It, apparently, happens with all of us. Grin

A few weeks ago I woke up with the theme to The Generation Game (Brucie era) stuck in my head.  No idea why.  Took a while to shift.

I've had Myles Kennedy's song "Watch Over You" stuck in my noggin non stop for about a month. I play it about 10 times a day and have got it on right now! I absolutely love it, my favourite song of all time.
Give it a whirl, you won't be disappointed. Such a wonderful voice that bloke has got. 10/10 job.

Good choice Slippy, I started listening to Myles after the stuff he did on that Slash album (check them out if you haven't already).

Most Alter Bridge stuff is of course harder than that, but I came across that version before and that is better imho than the album version, just one man and a guitar, one take, perfection.

If I could pick one fault ... not enough Big Suze LaughLaugh

Across the Universe is very beautiful as Lennon sings it, right away in the first few lines his voice is very human.

To make music like that seems so easy, so natural, but naturally it's quite impossible.
