It is important that we are in receipt of cleared-funds by the payment due date to prevent any statutory late payment charges and interest being charged.
I do have a domain name due to expire next month but you choose whether you want to renew it, why are they telling me there will be a charge if I'm late

just had a reply The invoice is for the domain renewal and is due on the expiry date of 08/09/2017, We are obliged by the rules of the Registry to prepare the invoice 30 in advance of the expiry date to give you time for an early payment to ensure you do not lose it at if you do not make payment before that date. If you do not wish to retain the domain then it will need to be marked as do not renew which you can do in your client portal or by saying so in a reply to this ticket.
