Chillier lovers beware

Daughter got some California Reapers from Tesco's,they look a bit like Scotch Bonnets,so I usually like to put a couple of Scotch Bonnets in soup late at night to give it a bit of kick. So I did the same with the Reapers, well the effect was the same when having my soup ,sweating ,runny nose,so had a glass of milk and went back to bed. Fell asleep so far so good, about  an hour later I woke up with severe stomach pain. When I was a child I nearly died with an acute appendicitis this was the the worst pain I have suffered since then.I couldn't lay on my side only on my back I thought this was it after all I'm 68 and a lot of my generation having been kicking the bucket of late.Anyway obviously I survived, told my daughter the next day she went on line and showed me an article about the world record holder for eating Californian Reapers and it was 3 and the fellow that holds it went through a similar experience to me, only he collapsed in the street.
