After years of smoking and drinking my teeth are a little stained now. Any idea as to the best/cheapest way to get them done? Cheers

You can get them done at the dentist for about £250. They'll take impressions of your teeth, and supply moulds and gel for that. Extra tubes of gel are about £15, and can be used as you need. The gel lasts a long time, so after the initial outlay it's cheap as chips.

GO ON THEN,has the best way but it is followed closely by rubbing a toothbrush on the inside of a fireplace and gather black sooth and then brush the sooth on to the teeth and you will have lovely white pearly teeth,but make sure you don't swallow the black gunge.

I've used Harpic Max Power Plus and the toiler bowl is sparkling white, why not swill it around your mouth and see the results.

Saw this the other day but don't know if it works or not.Rub the teeth with the inside of a banana skin leave for 5 minutes and then just brush as normal
Do this twice a day for a week and you should see a difference |

I wonder if you put your false teeth in the dish washer how would they turn out.dish washer tablets have bleach in them that is harmless because we drink out of the cups that come out.SO maybe Brass has a new multi million pound idea,now im off to find an old set of false teeth and if I find a set there will be a sign outside the front door( DENTAL WHITENING FOR AS LOW AS 80 QUID )EXPRESS SERVICE WHILE YOU WAIT READY IN 40 MINUTES. and I could save on dish washer tablets by putting 40 or 50 sets in at a time and earn 4 grand for every wash cycle.

if your teeth are crooked a brace will straighten them in 6 months but it can be sore because they tighten the brace every visit.
but I seen many a twisted mouthful of teeth turn out like an American news reader's teeth.And the best about a brace is that you get it free on the medical card, and if you have to pay its only a few hundred quid for full treatment.But think of the advantages you would be able to shift the rich chicks with your new smile. |

If you drink coffee/tea or smoke you're likely to get staining. Your first port of call should be a dental hygienist for advice. Do remember though that your teeth are not naturally as white as some of the current 'fashionista's' would have you believe. Just take a look at a babies teeth and you'll see that. The whitening that has become popular is about as natural as botox or plastic surgery and looks just as naff.

Colgate Whitening strips of ebay. They work...people have been on this for a few years now. make sure you get proper ones not sndies....about £15 for a 7 day set .. they hurt your teeth a little after but 100% do the job. Dentists hate them losing loads of cash.

The OP didn't actually ask how to whiten teeth, just how to get the stains off them.
As cooperman says, go to the dental hygienist. Costs about £30 for a session, which is a rip off for how long it takes, but for that you get the stains cleaned off with a machine and loads of cleaning spray and that's it. Makes a big difference. They tell you to come back in 6 months, but depending how much you smoke and drink (and how thoroughly you clean your teeth), a one-off is usually enough. |
