Just chatted with talktalk regarding booking the fight as I don't see any adverts on site or on their tv box, was told just go to channel 419 to order. Channel 419 is box nation, the fights on sky sports box office. So don't want to be ordering box nation for a month, to find out its not the correct channel. Is this information from chat incorrect regarding the fight. Ive not ordered any of these things previously, just seems wrong information to me.

Most of these streams are rubbish, full of adverts and cutting off. If there was a decent enough stream out there would go for that.

What time (UK) will they be fighting? I'm thinking of getting it out of curiosity, but I'm not setting my alarm for silly o clock again.

It was only confirmed yesterday that Sky got the rights so it sounds like the person you spoke to didn't have a scooby about whats going on.

I think it's £20 on Sky, they won't be getting a score from me though.

I read that PPV is £80 (presumably $100) in the US.

Maybe there isn't as much interest in the UK.

* I guess it'll be on at prime time in the US which means a silly time here

It's 5am for the fight in Britain, Sky weren't stupid enough to try and charge people 100 quid for that. Feel sorry for any mug that is forking out 100 dollars over in America prime time or not, that is daylight robbery.

I'm not a boxing fan, Slippy, but this fight has intrigued me slightly. I'd never heard of Mcgregor before this fight was lined up.

I'll find out who won when I get up that Sunday morning.

Just got back to talk talk as the information I was getting seemed wrong, I have been informed again same thing. Talk talk advisor stated this is a special offer, just order box nation for 1 month £12.99 and you get this fight. Don't understand how talk talk can give you the fight for 12.99 plus all other boxing matches in this month, when sky are £19.95 and its there gig. 3 different advisors stating same thing, so have to assume its the correct information, will just book this for a month when I see when these various boxing events fall into place to get the most for my month.

Mayweather must be very confident that
Irishman won't land a glove.

DEFIANT Floyd Mayweather has given Conor McGregor a huge boost by agreeing to fight using lighter gloves.
The Irishman is desperate to have as little padding as possible — improving his odds of scoring a KO victory when they meet on August 26.
And Money has shocked fans by agreeing to wear 8oz gloves instead of the normal 10oz.

He never fights in 8 oz remember against
Maidana he paid him 1.5 million more to wear
biggger gloves.

I have no idea if talk talk just put everything into the box nation station, but been told by 3 different advisor same thing special offer Mayweather v McGregor fight if you want to book go to this channel and just put in your pin number for the month, sure Golovkin is on 17th of September, so will order this channel after 18th August, might get that fight also. Still think something is wrong but 3 advisor same thing, talk talk special offer.

Yes I know this, but the talk talk people have informed me its on their box nation station, when I queried they were two different stations was informed that's were I go, when I also mentioned the fact the fight is on sky sports box office for £19.95 and this station costs £12.99 for the month, how were they able to cut the price, they said this was a special offer, so have no idea if talk talk put everything into one station. They are also doing all the sports channels for £8.50 a month, don't know how they manage it, but I took the sports package for £8.50 for 18 months.

Agree with you, think these advisors are getting things wrong myself, its hard getting through to talk talk, so have posted on their forum what I was informed, and for to make things clear on the forum what's what regarding booking this fight. Got a reply back stating will go to higher authorities to clarify the matter, so should have a definite reply within the next day I would think.

Indians still?
By:

No idea, done my communication through live chat 3 different days, 3 different advisors all saying the same thing. So now waiting on reply from forum, which should be the real deal this time. To be honest talk talk should have this in their online website, or advertised on talk talk box so people know what the fcuk is going on if the wish to order.

Yep a blunder by talk talk chat online giving out fake information. Will be on station 419 0r 429 with a price of £19.95 same as sky.
