The best way to use an Avocado by the length of the Aintree straight is
to take the avocado , spluce down the middle .. Make a hollow in one half (both halves for 2 portions) And plsce prawns , lettuce and Marie sauce in the hollow.. With your long handled spoon eat a bit of everything = incl the soft Avocado centre .. Pure Heaven !!

so we eat them once a month or so
just buy the cheaper ones

Halve, de-stone and marinade in balsamic vinegar, Lemon Juice and the herbs - Tarragon, Parsley and Chives. Press into an old boot, and bury for two weeks. A compost heap is better than the ground because of the residual heat. Dig up, wash off compost, scoop out contents and eat boot. Hth
