That is incredibly bad news.

He was a good poster and came across as a decent person albeit a tad eccentric but that added to his 'charm'.

Very surprising imo, don't think he was a borderline banning sort of poster

Shall be best remembered for posting a thread gloating about renovating his new 5 bedroom house with pictures to follow once the mods approved, in the meanwhile he reeled me to complain about the boasting of his wealth in such turbulent financial times for many people....before proceeding to post the photo of a 5 bed dolls house costing just 20 odd quid

I don't recall him posting anything remotely likely to attract a ban. Is there anyone registered on the forums who knows him personally?

Was his story of painting the bus shelter outside his house that came into my head for some reason then I realised I hadn't seen any posts from him recently.

The most accident and mishap prone poster on this or any forum, it's almost certain he fell into a hole painted on the road just before a piano was dropped into it.

Yes I was banned, a few weeks ago, and at first just thought my posting privileges were denied, but soon found that my account was closed!

It's a shame that one can be banned for a minor misdemeanor after all these years.

sounds like a jobs-worth to me, I would imagine they've lost Betfair many a customer over the years by banning them from the forum, casual players but still, they're the ones they have spent so much of their marketing revenue on trying to attract.
