John McCain’s brain cancer diagnosis has been described as "Godly justice" by members of the alt-right, angry at the senator's criticism of Donald Trump.

Messages of support flooded in for the veteran Republican following news he was suffering from an aggressive form of the disease.

But among the positive messages sent from former presidents Barack Obama, Bill Clinton and George W Bush, was an outpouring of anger and hate.

The far-right message board 4chan was awash with toxic comments, with Newsweek quoting one post saying: “The last president for McCain will be Trump.

“There’s some godly justice right there.”

Another wrote: “I’m pretty sure that God is punishing him. God made it pretty clear that he supports New Right now.”

Others social media sites were also filled with messages for Mr McCain, with one twitter user posting: “Finally cancer has helped our society.”

Another tweeted: “Hey John !! How’s The Headache??”

A third wrote: “An unfortunate tumour found itself inside the skull of a malignant John McCain.”

Sick bastards is correct, cancer is a horrible disease and John Mcain and his family must be suffering terribly. I'd like to see those idiots who post insults be held to account somehow. Sadly this sort of thing happens on all sides of the political divide. When Thatcher became ill and died you had the same sort of disgusting bile written about her.

I'd imagine if you are an atheist you'll be grinding your teeth together.

If god was the vengeful monster that they portray, he could kill anyone in a second.

nobody is punishing John McCain except John Mccain.

here is a scenario - you are a wealthy man, you live your life, you detest the
public safety net called the social care system. you try your best to get it cut.
for funding of it to stop. through bribery of top officials and lobbyists you
succeed in getting it reduced or eradicated.

Split of scenario - More destabilized society, more crime, a hungry man steals into the rich man's house and kills him and eats his food in the fridge.

or - the rich man dies, leaving his fortune to his sons, there is a stock market crash and the fortune quickly dwindles away. His sons end up on the streets with no safety net.

This might sound outlandish. but many rich people have ended up on benefits in later years.

In July 2014, Barry Strevens, a former bodyguard to Margaret Thatcher, claimed he warned her that Morrison allegedly held sex parties with under-age boys. Strevens said that despite passing on the allegations to Thatcher she later promoted Morrison to the position of deputy chairman of the Conservative party. Thatcher's private secretary, Archie Hamilton, reportedly took notes of what was said.[16]

In January 2015, The Daily Telegraph reported allegations that Morrison raped a 14-year-old boy at Elm Guest House in London. The alleged victim said he was walking in the village of Harting in West Sussex in 1982 when Morrison gave him some money and later lured him to London.[17]
