I wish they'd just show a the map  of Britain, with the temperature and little weather symbols for rain/cloud/sun next to each main town or city at morning/afternoon/evening/night and do that for  the next 5 days, instead they zoom in and pan around the British isles, what is the point of that, that should be for local weather reports, by the time they've finished I've already pressed the red button and found out the weather up until Sunday whilst they've yet to finish today. Support they have to drag out time towards the end of the hour.

there seems to me a lag in their forecasts. as if local people strategically placed. were phoning in the weather.
take the flash flooding on Cornwall. once it started to happen, they update the
weather to heavy rain expected?

flash flooding in July? at this point as Wimbledon ends, it's usually

There is a lag in their forecast. I believe they run the UK high resolution model 4 times a day. With the time to collect and process the data. The delay will be around 6 to 10 hours. It's mis-leading that they update the forecast hourly.

I thought it was a FOREcast - before the weather happens they tell you what it will be.
Just telling you what's happening now is kind of dumb. I can look outside?

Right now i look out and see rain and wind, so My forecast for today is Rain and wind.
perhaps with periods of sunshine as it's summer?
