Yeah, I liked it. Some negative comments on the Guardian article - not much of a surprise
It's not supposed to be some defining movie of its time. Good fun if you accept it for what it is - a heist movie. Agree about the soundtrack and some original moves for the chase scenes. |

An unoriginal idea done well, perhaps?

Watched first 20 mins, fell asleep. Will give it another go though. Not enough monsters or spaceships, unlike Alien Covenant which was fricking fantastic...imo.

Observer gave it a good review so it must be brilliant
I will find out this week. |

Observer is a blast from the past, haven't seen it for a decade. Does it still mirror the Guardian's views or have they drifted apart? I never see the Observer slaughtered on here like the Guardian.

Watched Minder last night and Dave was leering at a page 3 girl. I think his words were 'corrrrr you could hang your hat on those.' Do they still have page 3 girls?

I haven't bought the Guardian for a few years but would imagine the Observer being slightly more to the centre although some of the columnists would not be to popular on here
although I must admit the main reason I buy it is for the restaurant review and sports pullout ![]() |
