I have seen the programme a few times xmoneyx, the joke wore very thin to me quite quickly and Benidorm is in fact nowhere near as bad as the series portrays. The beaches, Levante Beach and Poniente Beach are absolutely immaculate. Yes of course there is a bit of debauchery as you would expect of such a resort but it's not all bad at all. I lived in Alicante for many years and always had a few weekends up there with mates in the Summer and always had a good laugh with no bother.
