I've blocked UB, Fatslogger and DeTraveller.
Only because they type the same chyt over and over. I just got fed up seeing it and know I aint missing anything by blocking them. |

If you do 'block' someone and then actually broadcast the fact, always remember NOT to follow IAN Mohammed's example.
He publicly claimed to have blocked a number of us, but subsequently continued responding to various posts we'd made. The man was even kind enough to answer a question I'd raised about the plot line of the TV series 'Taboo'. These 'blocking' arts are seemingly complex, and perhaps not for bears of very little brain. |

In the old days the poster known as Bert and I just did not get on. We argued and debated, but maintained respect for each other. He has long departed the forum. I still get heat from lefties and apologists for the Religion of Peace, but its water off a duck's back and I just laugh a lot of it off. In fact I find it rather entertaining. For a real treat I go on Twitter and post some sort of mild comment on suitable subjects to wind up a few. Great fun during boring moments. It usually descends into them aiming insults at me because they just can't beat me. A particular phrase that winds them up is when they have insulted me, I thank them for agreeing with me and for their support. That REALLY gets them to lose their rags. SPLENDID!

I simply don't read the posts of people I don't like. So if I respond to a post with abuse, then the poster can assume that they're still in my good books. |

I've blocked a few. It's great. Of course if you look at the Forum without logging in you can see their SH!T so you have to remember not to do that.

I've blocked one or two. I've realised some on here just try to wind people up by getting personal and being rude and abusuve. I think it's best not to give them the opportunity by just blocking them. I have no interest in reading their jibes and veiled threats.

Blocked someone once who took the p1ss out of Ellie Simmonds. Can't remember who it was but it wasn't something to be "debated" as such.

Been in the wars recently though, I had to have part of my collar bone removed two weeks ago and am black and blue, I look like I've had a fight with King Kong  Still punting away but pretty much only on placepots and go racing once or twice a month, Plumpton, Fontwell, Sandown and Brighton mainly. I don't bother with the cherries much these days, hope all is good with you nanny |

I've only blocked one person ever, and I've been abused left right and centre on this forum, but I ride with the punches as it's usually in spurts and short from most who are clearly hand jobs, the one poster I blocked was CJ who just came across as quite petty, relentless and trolling, the archetypal last word merchant who could argue for days on end without sleep and constantly tell YOU that YOU have lost the argument lol, always amuses me when people declare themselves the winner.

Dont understand why anyone should take any abuse seriously on a forum where hardly anyone knows anyone. If anyone wants to vent his anger, i am always available to take abuse on this forum. Blocking or reporting has never entered my mind.
