Saudi Arabia chief promoter of Islamist extremism in the UK

I think you will find these are British extremists, it's a bit much to blame Saudi if Britain is becoming a leading breeding ground for terrorism .

lfc - doubtless the terrorists themselves are British but what the report is saying is that the mosques and radical clerics who are encouraging and motivating them are being funded by hard liners in Saudi.

Who could deny that it's vital that we look at the wider issues and don't just narrow down on the perp and the perp alone.

Well if Britain allows a foreign and alien culture to flourish and be part of Britain that is not something that we can blame on Saudi.
Saudi would certainly not allow any such thing in their own country.

My eyes drawn also to the other stories on the right and another case of some loonball abusing a muslim women.

Why do these pr!cks always target women btw. Utter cowards.

(eyes also drawn to Emily Ratathingy saying she can't get work because of her big boobs, but I've bookmarked that for later)

Can't be true or they would be on the USA travel ban list wouldn't they???
Obviously Trump's business interests in the country have no bearing on this even though of all the
countries on that list the Trump Organisation has not done business or pursued potential deals there.
Don't even think it, it is just coincidence

As long as Trump bans some Muslim countries that's a good start right there, how many have Britain or France or Germany banned ?

Do we know how many have come back from Syria and elsewhere into Britain ?
And what are we doing to stop them from coming back?
Until we know that the op can pipe down about Saudi .

And pipe down about Trump also.

^ attempted censorship. The Donald would be proud of you

not censorship, just pointing out the hypocrisy of the usual anti Americanism and anti British suspects.

Now does the op want us to stop selling arms to Saudi ? And what do you think will happen if Saudi cannot defend itself , what will come in its place. Somewhere more peaceful and democratic such as Iran or something even worse ?
I don't know.

What a foreign country does should not be cause for concern. What your own govt does in response is what matters. And ours sleep with the saudis(but you can be proud they dont wear headscarf because its a sign of oppression and against western values).

In most countries led by dictators or powerful mafias, you will note that there always exists an outside enemy. For most its america of course but the reason why every govt wants its people to hate some foreign country is because then the people can't blame their own govt for their troubles. And that's how they rule.

We are no different. Our govts take every measure possible to destroy Europe while they do business with the very people they tell us to blame for our troubles. Who'd have thought our favorite muslim ally would be funding terrorism in Europe?

Is Saudi Arabia also responsible for the refugee crisis? It must also be the saudis that force Italian NGOs to rescue Libyan migrants? Must be the Saudis that would pay huge benefits to anyone who can cross into Europe? Must be the saudis that jail anyone for throwing bacon at someone but not for raping people?

....

FINALLY. After to weeks of debating you admit that Tommy Robinson is right about the Saudi inspired Salafist preachers.

Rare that I agree with a lot that you say detraveller but your last post is spot.

On !!!!

Maybe if we did take a leaf out of the Saudi's book we wouldn't half the problems we have today. Christian rule, Christian churches only. Prison sentences for anyone displaying symbols of any other religion. Yeah that should sort it.........

there are no good or bad countries in the Gulf region - just ones that buy arms from us and allow us to station our military and ones that don't.

Is Saudi Arabia also responsible for the refugee crisis? It must also be the saudis that force Italian NGOs to rescue Libyan migrants?

essentially yes. because it's they who fund the terror groups who cause this to happen

detravellers last post is not spot on, don't be deceived , with detraveller as with many leftists you have to read between the lines to get the true meaning. Granted with detraveller it is almost always pretty senseless.

Of course there are no God or bad countries in the region. Unless you include Israel,
Most of them are Muslim so there is not much we can do about that .

Maybe there's mixed messages lfc but I pretty much agree with what he said, as for refugees why should the Europeans take them Saudi Arabia certainly doesn't

As things stand it us undoubtedly a good thing that Saudi is able to defend itself and if they are an ally and buy British planes and arms so much the better.

we have to expect Manchester is the price we pay

lfc, here is another senseless thing for you. What the OP is saying is, in 2015, the government used your money to determine if an enemy was really being an enemy. Is enemy the sysnonym of friend? Why should anyone need an inquiry to determine if an enemy is playing enemy or friend?

everyone understands that dan. I can assure you detraveller doesn't .

...and then they decided not to tell you the results

very good detraveller, I am sure that is overflowing with good meaning.

Manchester is our responsibility, the people are British and Manchester is in England.

why do you call me senseless when i say the exact same thing, namely we need to hold the govt accountable for their responsibility instead of blaming KSA or digging verses from the Koran that say they should kill us? The enemy fulfils the definition of being an enemy and we get p1ssed on that. The govt sleeps with the enemy and when i ask you to ask the govt why, i am senseless, anti american and what not. Why lfc?

well it's very simple detraveller , I read your sentences carefully and that is the only conclusion I can come to.
I can only point out how senseless they are.

You are determined to blame the British government for all manner of things, that is your viewpoint and nothing in your world must be done to put individual responsibility onto the people themselves, the people who are determined to see Britain and America as the enemy,

Saudi Arabia..lovely country..currently bombing Yemen, won't see this on the mainstream news, might upset the house of Saud. The Muslims moving into Europe are not Wahhibis, they know if the move into Saudi they will be persecuted.

Ps, Iran or whatever its previous names were, has never invaded or started a war with another country..It is being lampooned because it is only 1 of 3 countries not run by world banks..North Korea and Cuba being the others.

We look back to 10 years ago:

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/wahhabism-a-deadly-scripture-398516.html

We know about this. But no one is willing to do anything about the £3bn spent on spreading the message.

Anyone that speaks out about the elephant in the room is called a racist bigot.

why do Saudi and Isis act the same? because they are not Muslims, they are Wahhabists-
a Saudi based,British promoted muslim imposter,"Religion" search Wahhabism

Has Britain started wars ? Yes I am sure we have, thank god.
And have Iran ? I don't know, I am not impressed by that , I give them no credit for that.
Why ? because I like war, and I like peace.
How can I explain this seeming contradiction?

Fair point about the British Empire 100+ years ago.

Today's British people are not accountable for that. Need to stop the funding coming in now.

Ah the Empire, and Britain, England   the greatest force for good the world has ever seen .
God save the Queen.

For anyone that want to read beyond the headlines here is the report:

http://henryjacksonsociety.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/Foreign-Funded-Islamist-Extremism-final.pdf

What does it tell us ? nothing , nothing at all that we were not warned about decades ago , and ignored and shouted down then and now by the same usual suspects who want us to read it now.

You see the leftists create a problem and the want to compound that problem by pretending to be concerned .
I don't trust that sort of enemy.

Yes but finally the leftists are looking at it.

Now we need to stop the funding and admit the ideology is dangerous. Ir is time for the left and people like Tommy to unite on this and root it out.

The left are not looking at it, they are concerned only that Saudi is one of the few allies Britain and America has in the region . That is what drives and motivates these people , they would be quite prepared to see us murdered in our beds than help and support American and British interests .

It is simply another stick with which to bash Britain and America.
That's what they do, that is their only concern.

The people that wrote the report are right of center. Some people describe Tommy Robinson right of center. He has been saying this is a problem for over a decade.

guess where they spent billions on arms from, yes you got it America and us,and have another guess where it ends up

Perhaps 9/11, 7/7, Manchester, etc. are a price worth paying? Our governments seem to think so.

war and fear make vast amounts for some

You knuckle dragging EDL types on here are so ungrateful.  Without the generosity of these nice arab fellas we would not have fuel for our mopeds.
Consider yourselves reported

Ps
After all it is only a  book they follow.

Heard a muslim expert say on aljazeera today that there is no evidence that ideas create terrorists

so there!!!
