cleaned keyboard and now wont type anything other than, wepweggi'pweg and thats going through qwertyuiopasdfghjklzxcvbnm few strange things with bat as well going on ,using the mouse keyboard .tried updating keyboard drivers from control p but no joy is there something simple i have missed ? l was on firefox and carot keys came on that was start of prob ,then bat went flat and been in a state of intensive care ever since,popped keyboard out and looks ok, on settings keyboard is not highlighting in box ,am running windows 8.

Sounds like a hardware problem with the KB. Try using an external KB (USB).

cheers ,got an old kb but is the round plug ,need an adaptor ,have 1 somewhere ,tbh that will prob be the way to go and do a recovery attempt but chances of total loss must be high , ran all the maintenance and diagnostics ,did blue screen with a win error that is generic file error ,maybe with a external kb i could do summit in bios ?
