I'm just over 12 stone, pretty much the same weight as when I was 18 and eat whatever I want but I don't eat rubbish food having said that. I like a few pints and a bag of crisps in the pub but never put any weight on.

Refined Sugar and refined wheat.
Evil man made sources of emptiness that is responsible for the NHS being stretched wider than the English channel. And they cheat their way into your food, so many different names for sugar, usually ending in -ose, Gluecose, Fructose, Dextrose, Maltrose etc, and Starch. The more you consume the more you crave and the more your body tolerates it short term until you consume so much it causes cancer, it helps to multiply cells to an uncontrollable level. Using cheaper methods of prodcing sugar, HFCS, was the beginning of the obesity and diabetes crisis. |

I'm pretty much of a home bird. Only time I drink is if I go out with the lads at football which I can't be bothered to much with these days, I don't smoke. I would give anything to eat what I want without putting weight on which some people seem to manage

Good post Scandy, sugar is the crack cocaine of the food industry. It's in more or less everything often in HFCS guise.

Sugar and carbs, heavy links to cancer. Cancer needs sugar to thrive in the body.
everyone has cancer cells but if it can link up to a supply of sugar, the cells double quickly. Maybe this is why some people spontaneously get better? they are told they have cancer and lose their appetite? Someone should do a study. |

I drink Pepsi max like it's going out of style. My carpenter said that Aspartame was invented by the Americans as a poison to put in bombs during the Vietnam war
