a guy is assaulted in a pub.
no one knows who the attacker was.
they did but were not saying.
the police have cctv and have the assault on camera, a picture of the attacker but no name.
they are at a dead end, when they get a phone call saying that the attacker uncle is at the front desk in the police station.
they interview the uncle who says that they have his nephew in police custody, which they do not,
but now know the name of the attacker.
the people involved were irish
you could not make it up

Complete wind up of a show for peeps that don't understand the system.. i was attacked from behind one night after leaving a pub .. punched & beaten up from behind.. knocked unconcious & kicked in the head/face on the ground whilst unconcious!!
the Police were quick on the scene .. they had the attackers banged to rights .. caught on CCTV .. they got community service in court as they said I WAS DRUNK .. SO WAS ALL MY FAULT!! Who gives a t0ss about 24 hours in Police custody .. i've spent whole weekends in there with No comment interviews ! THEY REFUSE YOU ASTHMA INHALERS .. MY HUMAN RIGHTS !!! My attackers were probably bailed within 3 hours ! |

it get worse
the assault was in a pub. the landlord and his wife are shown a photo of the attacker, but denied knowing him, but on face book the attacker is a usher at their wedding. the attacker is pleading not guilty and aims to bring the landlord and landlady to court saying he is NOT the guy in the photo, when the attacker is shown the facebook page and images from the cctv pictures proving it is him, he still pleads not guilty of assault with the defence he was defending a friend. the victim is a known nasty bit of work and does not want to press charges. the attacker is found guily and got community service. the victim had his skull split in two, but was involved in a fight 4 hours before the incident, |

ahhh Good old Community Sevice hey ....
and i didn't need to waste an hour watching the Rubbish! my attackers got 120 hours each painting fences ... Coppers told me they'd get me a nice bit of Compensation only **** get paid are them & the Courts .. it's a Nice little Earner ... RINSE & REPEAT! |

Didn't even get notified of their charges ... read it in the newspaper about a week later !

I actually rang the courts .. i was told point blank it was my own fault .. and then told i could write a letter of appeal if i felt in was necessary
