Annoys the hell out of me, the speaking audio is so low on most tv shows that you have to turn it up, but when their is some action involving shooting, cars or explosions it goes of the scale. And then onto the adverts.

Game Of Thrones they whisper and then boom.

in this day of the beautiful thing that we call the internet, why do you guys stick to tv and let them bombard you with all this crap?

Apart from sport, I haven't watched broadcast TV for at least 5 years. If I want to watch TV, I'll watch Netflix or youtube on my laptop.

I never get ads when watching youtube on my laptop.

The volume is turned up for the ads to waken you because they know you've probably fallen asleep while watching the normal sh1te.

One of my TVs has a sound limiter specifically to stop the sound getting louder when they turn it up for the adverts.
The last one I bought does not have this feature, so I simply do the same as zorro and turn the sound off.

Although most of the time I usually change channels when the ads come on and then go back to what I was watching when I reckon the advertisements have finished.
