Contract ends on 27th June. Anyone recommend a cheap and reliable deal?

You will no doubt find cheaper on other networks, but I had to stick with O2.  Just got 2GB a month data, unlimited everything else for £11.

I had tried Carphone Warehouse, O2 shop and online and got a much better deal when I phoned O2 up.

Cheers Jack. That sounds reasonable given I'm already with 02. 30 day or 12 month contract?

12 month.  I phoned up and had to refuse his first offer!  Think he said £16.  I said the most I would pay would be £10.  He then managed to find a better offer of £11. Wink

I pretty much had to go with O2 because of coverage in my area.

I pay £6 a month with Virgin, 4G, plenty of data (unused rolls over), unlimited texts, no contract.

For a casual user I think it's about as good as you'll find, they use EE network to so the coverage is good.

Make sure you check they have good coverage in the areas that you are likely to be.

Also if you are a Sky or BT customer, you might be able to get a fiver off per month on their offerings.

Reception here on 02 only ever gets 1 bar Jack, so that might be the clincher.Wife gets much better signal with EE. Just gone broadband only with Virgin, saving me a fortune,I don't miss the TV one bit.

Finally sorted this out and ended up with the same deal as Jack.£11 per month with 02.

Got a a contract for another of couple of months but been keeping an eye out for pay as you go when it ends.

Plusnet looks very good.

3.5gb of 4G data, unlimited texts and 1000 mins. Rolling 30 day contract and use EE network. 8 quid a month.
