have seen some little lavender  blue with purple coloured spots  butterflys frequenting the buddlia in gardens ,never seen them before anyone know what they are called ? also seen a resurgence of grasshoppers in some gardens

nobody grows cabbages any more

probably because the butterflies laid eggs that turned into green caterpillars
that were not nice to eat

My "Buddleia" was always covered in "Red Admirals" but but but but butterflies are less seen, for some reason, these days!

We usually get a lot of those with "eyes" on the wings, Peacocks possibly. None so far.

I had two Cabbage Whites in my garden yesterday, first time I've seen them this year.
