Most US comedy is absolutely dire. The chat show circuit is especially 5hite. They have zero humour (Why Corden fits in well) and are just adverts for celebrities latest film, song, show etc...

About 2 years ago now, I stood next to him on the London Underground and he stared at me with a rather aggressive and serious look. It wasn't until I started to talk to my nephew who I was with that he turned away and tallked to a mate of his also standing next to him. I really thought for one moment that he was going to have a go at me, but he then got off the tube at the next station, and that was the end of that. Off camera, I reckon he's an aggressive type who's difficult to work with, but that's only a guess on my part. I wouldn't know that for certain.
