Only the Boomers understand. I'm one and I do. Culture, popular culture, cultural revolution. Change, development, evolution and revolution. And high art, decent health care, discipline, education, literacy. Hovercraft, Concorde. Film, fashion and above all music. RIP Adam West

Unhappy memories for me, I was the only kid in my class that got sent to bed before Batman. Used to go to school early on a Monday morning so I could earwig what people were saying about the previous nights episode so I could pretend I'd seen it Sad

That scene in the Batman movie where he tries to dispose of the bomb on the harbourside will never be surpassed.

Think my first ever Science lesson came from the first  Batman movie, people were dissolved into piles of dust with some sort of ray gun & Batman said something along the lines that people were 90 odd percent water then he proceeded to pour them in a glass vessel of some sort, it was all a bit too much at the time for a five year old !!

Oh Dan,

You have no idea

I went to a strict religious school where the boys were routinely beaten and no doubt buggered and I have had to live with that knowledge!

What was wrong with me? why didn't it happen to meLaugh!

Adam West was offered the role of James Bond in Diamonds are Forever before Sir Roger got the part.
Bert Ward (Robin) auditioned for the role- wait for it- of Benjamin in The Graduate- the role that started  Dustin Hoffman on the way to success!

BOOMF SPLATT SCRENCH RIP!
