Assuming our hapless PM manages to cobble something together with her friends in the DUP, does anyone out there seriously believe that the Labour party can last another term of Parliament under the current leadership without tearing itself apart?

I have packed sandwiches and fizzy pop in my picnic and am currently putting out the deckchairs for a ringside seat to watch this unfold

For us party members  he is untouchable now.
The tories in the Labour party need to leave and join their friends by crossing the floor

but they have corbyn to thank for saving their expenses fuelled careers.

He's getting on a bit, will be 73 in 5 years so that may be an issue.

I still think he prefers to be in opposition. He's a natural rebel/campaigner.  Actually being in office and having to make difficult decisions is something he's never had to do in his long political career and its a bit late in the day to start.

Suspect that if he did get into office they'd look to replace him asap.
