Good morning, everyone. :)

Contrary to popular belief, is it conceivable that a so-called 'hard' Brexit is actually rendered more probable following last night's shock results?  It would seem likely to me that whatever deal is now struck by a Tory government (propped up by the DUP) will not find favour with the promised parliamentary vote, ultimately leading to a 'no deal' exit.

They will do their best to pretend that is what they are trying to avoid, it is the Tory MPs who don't want to leave the EU and the rest who are determined to find a way not to leave.

That is why they will try and cause as much chaos as possible and use this result, not a bad result considering the dreadful manifesto, to stop May from getting Britain out .

This is their aim, nothing to do with what is best for the party , look immediately Soubry found May to be in danger she couldn't wait to try and use this in some way to stop us leaving Europe in any meaningful way .

That is what this is about , and that is why pokermonsters logical conclusion is something they will twist .The remainers will use every outcome to pretend they are doing one thing , when in reality there is one objective.
Do not trust them, they don't deserve to be trusted.

I don't know about that PM, it all seems a total shambles to me from all parties. I foresee years of indecision ahead, Tory leadership battles because May is a disaster and lost them a majority, Labour bickering and unrest behind Corbyn's back because they have lost three elections in a row, probably another general election, possibly a second EU referendum! It's all a complete mess.

You could reasonably argue that everybody has lost. Disastrous night for the Tories losing their slim majority, loads more votes and seats for Labour but they've still lost in a distant second, Liberals virtually consigned to a nonentity, SNP losing two-fifths of their seats. The only ones laughing will be the EU fat cats.
