Reason number 1 to close down Channel 4-Ackley Bridge. Reason number 2- giving a very nasty person called Boyle a prog. This is one Boyle that should certainly be lanced as soon as possible!

Correction-BBC2 has given him a prog, but his appearances on Channel 4 panel shows show him to be worse than on the Boob! The Boob is dumbing down so far that soon Corbyn will be the controller and we won't be able to differentiate between Al Jazeerah and the Boob, with the Boobs editorial policy being to the left of the Guardian. Licence payers deserve better!

I watched "8 out of 10 cats" election special the other day. In that, every single panelist came across as proudly anti Tory and the audience was the Corbyn fan club. The reaction when they heard the exit poll told it all, it was like they'd all won the cup final, punching the air etc. Once you notice these things it's hard to stop noticing them.

He's certainly gone more political and is all the better for it - I liked his old stuff, but him spending an hour abusing drunks in the crowd got a bit old, and I think he's right to do different stuff. Given what complete cra p most modern comedy is, it's quite refreshing to have a political comedian these days regardless of whether you agree with him or not
