Furious Corbynistas have accused Sir Alan Sugar of encouraging people not to vote for Jeremy Corbyn because he wants to pay less tax.
In response, the businessman revealed the exact amount he paid in tax this January, even tweeting a photograph of the cheque.
He said: "To the people who have responded to my advice not to vote for Corbyn saying I want to avoid paying tax . I paid this personally in January".
The cheque was for £58,646,024.44.
He also revealed he is so pleased by the large amount of tax he pays that he puts it in a frame on the wall.

Not a fan of Sugar but to be fair he keeps his business on shore and pays his taxes.

You can have all your cheques returned after clearing, if you ask your bank.
