That's odd, the various other newspapers are giving a description of the victim (white) the assailaints (asian) what they were shouting (I'll give you a clue, starts with A and ends with H) yet the BBC story on it mentions precisely none of these things. I mean it's not like the BBC would conciously redact all those aspects from the story would they?

Re my comment earlier it was on the bbc news site and I made a point of reading it through twice to make sure, as I know the BBC love omitting such information, and once again they had done so. Like when they were deliberately censoring reports of the German New Year incidents etc and just callign them "men" when the rest of the media were going apesh1t.

I'm sure if three white women had attacked an asian women shoutng "britain first" they would have included that info and it would have been high on the 6pm running order. That's just a hunch..

The BBC prefer reporting Pretendy Hate Crimes committed in the aftermath of Brexit, where no-one gets hurt, rather than exposing this psychopathic cowardly unprovoked stabbing committed in London just days after the 'London Bridge' atrocity.

This time the victim was just one in number, and thankfully not murdered. The method of attack was identical, and words spoken by the assailants (plus manner of dress) suggest that there is another Peace-Loving link.

QUESTIONS OVER BBC CENSORSHIP OF “ALLAH” STABBING ATTACK.

A disturbing picture is beginning to emerge of potential censorship of an attack yesterday by a group of girls screaming about Allah and the Koran.

The attack victim’s boss at a local nursery, Karrien Stevens, gave quotes to the London Evening Standard saying clearly that: “They pulled her to the ground, kicking and punching her. One of them got the knife out and cut her arm “They were shouting about Allah, that and the Koran.”

The BBC’s version of the story quotes Stevens as well, but with absolutely no mention of what she has said about Allah or the Koran.

Disturbingly, Karrien Stevens spoke to BBC News but her description of details of the attack appear to have been edited and a section cut out at around 17 seconds:

Why did the BBC edit out the part where the eyewitness says the attackers shouted "This is for Allah" & Koran verses?

Did the BBC edit out any mention of Karrien Stevens talking about the attackers shouting about Allah and the Koran?.

Bewildering if they have removed it to fool the people who actually fund the BBC.

The Police are playing it down, casemoney. I'm guessing people like Hopkins will pick up on the subterfuge, but I find this trend very worrying. What are the BBC/Police trying to protect non muslims from, by hiding the intent of this attack? Should they not be warning people to be alert to this type of threat?

Quite clearly the witnesses have lied then??  There was not stabbing and there were no 'asian women' in Ilford.

we won't know the full facts until the victim is interviewed.

what we do know is that there is mass censorship going on.

They might have done so in the present climate, moisok. If you were in charge of a bunch of people you'd probably err on the side of caution if you heard there was someone with a knife in the locality. Looking a bit daft costs nowt.

There is already a good deal of eye-witness information in the public domain about what happened. (Example video below).

I'm not aware that any of the witnesses have been arrested for trying to mislead police or pervert the course of justice re: eyewitness evidence. If that had happened you can be sure it would have been THE lead story on BBC/Sky/C4 by now.

Wanstead attack: Nursery worker stabbed

A nursery school worker has been taken to hospital with a "slash wound" after reports of a stabbing in east London, police have said.

The victim, who is in her 30s, was attacked in Hermon Hill, Wanstead, on her way to work at about 09:30 BST.
Nursery manager Karrien Stevens said the woman told her she was slashed by three Asian women dressed in black.
Counter-terrorism police have been informed but are not treating it as a terrorist incident.

Ms Stevens, who runs Little Diamonds nursery in Hermon Hill, said the woman told her that she was attacked while on her way to work from Wanstead High Street.

The attackers slashed her arm from the wrist upwards before running off down the street, she said, and shouted out "something to do with Allah and the Koran".

The victim's injuries are not life threatening but she was taken to an east London hospital as a precaution, the Metropolitan Police said.

In a statement, the force added: "The suspects fled the scene prior to police arrival in an unknown direction.
"No arrests have been made. Enquiries continue.

"The Met's Counter Terrorism Command has been made aware of the incident but is not investigating at this time."

That's her manager alun, relating what she was told by the victim when she got to work injured. Whatever occurred, as stated above they can't have been trying to kill her or she'd be in a worse state. That's what made me ask if the victim was a Muslim yesterday. I thought it might be a family fall out with a lapsed one.

Police launch hate crime probe into Wanstead stabbing 'by women shouting about Allah'.

A Met spokesman said: “As a result of comments made during the attack, police are treating this as a hate crime. 

“No arrests have been made and enquiries continue.”

I wonder how many people were sat around a table hammering out that decision of whether it was or was not a 'Hate Crime' ?   None of them wanting to be there of course.

Maybe the Met consulted far and wide, and maybe ventured out into the Special Community before permission was granted to re-classify the crime.

Halfway house reached. With a bit of luck and a following wind they'll summon up the common sense to get the full weight of the Counter-Terrorism police behind it.

A hate crime is far from tolerable, but preferable to it being terrorist related. The bill would be more energised if it was the latter, I think.
