Jeremy Corbyn has asked Labour's shadow police minister Lyn Brown to stand in for Diane Abbott during her period of ill health.

Ms Abbott called in sick to an interview on BBC Radio 4's Woman's Hour yesterday - and the Labour leader confirmed she had been unwell for the past couple of days.

Ms Brown is Labour's candidate for West Ham.

Rumour abound that she had a fall at home and fell on a metal pointy thing.
Or she may have been pushed?
Expected to make a full recovery by Friday.

If she isn't well then take a break and get checked out.
She may have made mistakes but there may be a reason.

She also did not vote on Article 50 because she said she had a migraine, so maybe another migraine (?), but yeah, expected to make an amazing recovery by Friday.

I had said the other day she might well be ill - her speech was very very slow and slurred when she was interviewed after the one minutes silence etc.

Brown just sums up what I feel about ALL politicoes these days.

The behaviour of her replacement seems at odds with`public facade of the caring for minorities party.

it's something she'll never admit, such is her vanity, but there's a very reasonable chance that her laziness and narcissism, for that's what it is, may have cost labour the chance of forming a coalition.

These character flaws are by no means unique amongst MPs, but she sadly lacks the bluster and bullshit to paper over them.

How she ever was offered a place at Cambridge is quite beyond me.....one of the most rancid people in politics
