Well done indeed to the hero.

There need to be some football chants, broadcast loudly during matches, expressing disgust at the terrorists in our midst.

His actions meant others could get away unscathed. Well done, sir.

I love this story. Old skool.

He stood his ground. I would expect nothing less from Millwall.

I hope he never has to buy a pint again. How much do we need heroes like Roy?

Don't know about the football angle but I applaud his attitude.  This is the type of response that is needed to these ****s.

Just the sort of soldier who would have been confined to barracks next year when our civilians are taking a hammering in Russia.

BBC couldn't give Roy less coverage if they tried Sad

The official Police advice if caught up in a situation like Saturday night is to "Run and hide".  Well I think the days of running and hiding are over.
By:

When: 06 Jun 17 18:32
I hate that advice. We need to stand, fight and die if needed.

This nation has repelled invaders for hundreds of years. This terrorism is the challenge that faces the current generation.

Stand.

If someone (or three people) has a 12-inch blade, running away is probably the best thing to do.

In this case, it seems Roy's brave actions enabled others to do just that.

the tv news media do hatchet jobs on anything like this - they did it on sky to that 'little runt' of a guy who also tried to stop them.
These types and mentioning/feturing them are  too far away from the narrative.

Sky are on a pro islamic pilgrimage - did anyone see the 'muslims under threat and how to defend themselves' programme  this morning?    They and the bbc are part of the problem

He shouldn't have put himself in danger. I hope health and safety have a go at him for not wearing the correct equipment.
He is now languishing in hospital taking up a bed that someone else could have and costing money.
He needs to be questioned by the police and prosecuted for causing an affray, criminal damage, racially aggravated attack and hate crime.
We simply cannot have this sort of behavour.  It is not nice or gentlemanly.  But then what else would you expect from a Millwall supporter.

Best thing you can do with him is get the appointments committee together and put him in the house of lords

that would put the cat amongst the pigeons.

An MBE WOULD NOT BE ENOUGH FOR THIS BRAVE MAN.

Has Baroness Whitewash of Chakrabarti contacted Plod yet to make an official complaint about how The Human Rights of a Terrorist To Be a Terrorist were cruelly curtailed, firstly by this football supporter, then by the snipers?

Where's Chancer Lawyer Phil Shyster, Hero of the British Left, when he's needed?
