Why shouldn't people be alarmed! Also, why shouldn't the terrorist attack be politicised? Of course it should be politicised, it's the best chance we have if stopping this madness. Appeasers and apologists don't want the uncomfortable truths to be told, but we must not be afraid to upset anybody.

What has Trumpy said? I saw Khan and he is an absolute disgrace to this country.
Report King Louis June 4, 2017 4:48 PM BST
He criticised Khan's advice to Londoners not to be alarmed when they see lots of armed police in the streets. I say any reasonable person should be alarmed. It's all very well for Khan to tell people not to be alarmed, he gets an armed guard everywhere he goes.

Report Foinavon June 4, 2017 4:50 PM BST
People are dead, others, in great pain, are suffering life-changing injuries both in London and Manchester. Every reason to be alarmed, every reason to demand that action be taken to prevent a recurrence.

The word "Islamaphobe" will have to be suspended from use or dropped altogether. Nothing irrational about being fearful of Islam, anyone not so, is delusional.
Report Ovalman. June 4, 2017 5:02 PM BST
Strangely I haven't seen any Muslims taking to the streets and surrounding hate Mosques saying not in my name. You would have thought they would be disgusted by this but all I've heard from one prominent Muslim is get used to this.
Report King Louis June 4, 2017 5:05 PM BST
Exactly, Ovalman, and they are encouraged to bury their heads in the sand by our current Labour Party. Cry
Report King Louis June 4, 2017 5:08 PM BST
Other parties are also guilty of appeasement, but our current Labour Party leadership are the most culpable. Look at the reaction to the UKIP leader speaking the truth during the debate the other night. That is what our country has become, only a far right politician isn't afraid to speak the truth because he has no chance of being elected.

Spot on Loius. Nuttall was shamefully shouted down because he mentioned Islam.

The political classes have been compliant and have heaped this carnage upon us.
Report moisok June 4, 2017 5:16 PM BST
To be honest - the whole lot of them are complicit.  Islamic influence  has been allowed to grow unchecked within the country. Unchallenged.  Anyone who produces a critique is shouted down.
The whole immigration situation has been allowed to go on for far too long also.
Labour particularly bad of course.

and it is NOT going to change anytime soon
Report saddo June 4, 2017 5:34 PM BST
Indeed, the "racist" card was used-on here as much as anywhere else- by the do gooders to silence any debate. The Muslims must think we are the simplest people on earth.

Whoever wins the election on thursday, if they don't deal with this, we will.

Get your prisons ready, cos you're gonna have to arrest a lot of us.
Report Ovalman. June 4, 2017 5:49 PM BST
As another Chit Chatter posted on another thread, Islam could have peacefully took over by just breeding and immigrating and in a matter of decades they'd get the same aims. Maybe it's fortunate that these bastards want to submit us sooner because now we can fight back.
Report Injera June 4, 2017 5:52 PM BST
Agreed. I hope terrorism may be the biggest mistake they've ever made...

It's the parable of the frog that worries me most..

The boiling frog is a parable describing a frog being slowly boiled alive. The premise is that if a frog is put suddenly into boiling water, it will jump out, but if the frog is put in tepid water which is then brought to a boil slowly, it will not perceive the danger and will be cooked to death.

The problem, the funding, the idealism and the arms and money all emanate in Saudi Arabia.
We should absolutely, unequivocally stop supplying them with arms.
Report TheBaron June 4, 2017 7:18 PM BST
Saudi Arabia is the elephant in the room .  The west's dependence on their oil and as a ally against Iran has allowed them to exploit the reluctance to oppose their methods of spreading their version of Islam.  Sooner or later the west has to change is relationship with Saudi.
Report saddo June 4, 2017 7:22 PM BST
Or we could just stop Islam being taught in this country, that's what most non Islamics would like to see. The book legally preaches hate to very young children. I doubt any other segment of society would be allowed to do that, it would probably be regarded as abuse.
Report Foinavon June 4, 2017 7:28 PM BST
You can't stop the teaching, saddo, it will just go underground. It shouldn't be state funded though. As an example, there is an old woman just a few doors from me who gives Koranic lessons to children in her home. All religions should lose their charitable status, it's inappropriate.
Report saddo June 4, 2017 8:14 PM BST
Well, we will have to keep watching them filling all their infants with prejudice against kuffars then. I can't see any peaceful future while this is allowed/encouraged by our government.
Report Foinavon June 4, 2017 8:48 PM BST
I wish we could do it but kids are taught initially by parents then taken to koranic lessons at quite an early age. It's a bit like it was here when I was young, having to go to Sunday school to be indoctrinated in the bible. Which bits of the Koran they are taught and how it's presented is anybody's guess.
We should be vetting those who do teach and excluding hate preachers but how to do it?
Report saddo June 4, 2017 8:52 PM BST
They have to learn it all by heart and are hit on the hand with a stick if they recite incorrectly. At least that's how a young lady I know was taught.

During the six-minute long video, a group of small children ran onto the stage wearing black pyjamas, bandanas and keffiyehs, where they were handed toy assault rifles from a boy, not much older than a toddler.

The youngsters then form up in a military fashion before advancing across the stage in a tactical fashion.

Moments later, the leading child dives to the ground and lies prone, holding his toy gun in a sniping fashion.

Other children are dressed in desert camouflage military fatigues and can be seen loading 'shells' into a toy mortar.

When the narrator returns to the stage, he said: ‘Stab! Kill the occupier with stones and knives. Use any available weapon.

‘From the edge of fire, when the blood calls to arms, the morning rises.’

Think it was entirely apt, personally

You respond first as a human being, then as an ally, and then as a points-scoring politician.

Trump is not my leader and does not speak for me. Should keep his ridiculous wannabee-alpha male mouth shout and if he wants to help, rather than posture, stop Intelligence leaks to the New York Times would be a good start

if we work really hard at our demographic we can have 20,000 voters in 300 constituencies

that will just about do I think

although there are some who think they can achieve hegemony through violence, which has
somewhat upset the mainstream thinking on this.

That is why khan is so angry.  He is of the gradual achievement of hegemony movement, not violence.

They have upset the progress peacefully made.  He is LIVID!!!!

More over-reaching nonsense.

'Millions of citizens and politicians who are anti-American'

Where? There's plenty anti-Trump, because, well, he's an idiot. But like all politicians, he's transient. You don't throw away a history of friendship and co-operation just because their leader is an Orange buffoon with the intellectual muscle of EJ Gumby

It seems to suit the American people, that's ok they are growing a bit tired of this special relationship I should imagine
Especially when the British disrespect them, and their president, Trumps intellect? last time I looked Corbyn managed 2 grade E `a`levels, after the advantages of the best in British education
