Your threads seem to be following a pattern, King Louis.

Whatever the subject you seem to blame Labour.
You seem to have an idea from somewhere (and it's done all the time in the media) that if you say "I have always been a Labour voter, but this time I'm voting Conservative, people will follow suit.

Trouble is you've suggested Labour are bad too many times....
The misinformation is too much for most people to believe, but you seem to want to keep suggesting it, in the guise of a sort of naivety you don't possess.

Just to be confirm what I read from you over the last few days:

Appreciation for Bigmo's ridiculous list of 50 terrible things that Labour are responsible for (I'm surprised it didn't include Jimmy Saville).
Corbyn et al are IRA sympathisers/supporters
Labour is now somehow a defender of Muslim terrorism (or has this thread got a different meaning?).

Your earlier apparent need to be swayed one way or the other is surprising since you're now mentioning 20 "rotten Labour MPs" and "momentum".

Be a bit honest mate - even though most of this nonsense is derived from the Mail, Telegraph and other Tory supporting lying journalists.
There is NO WAY on Earth you'd ever vote Labour.

All political parties are to blame for this mess, it didn't happen over night.

White western guilt for empire and wars going back 100's of years creates a feeling that all that is wrong in the world is some how our fault and anything bad that happens to us is deserved.

This creates a climate of appeasement and apology from politicians and the media.  This is seen as a weakness to be exploited.

Essex.
I had to have an Op in December.
I only waited 18 months. After it finished (2.5 hours), I was sent home within 2 hours.
Needless to say the various inevitable problems meant time and grief which would have all been avoided with a couple of days stay.

There are only 5 A&E departments left in the whole county. None in the north of it, so often a trip to hospital is up to an hour and try to find somewhere to park!!!
And the plan is to cut 2 of those.

Then there are the GP's. The last time I asked for an appointment which I didn't have to queue up at 8am to beg for. It was SIX weeks!

I have had to visit the hospital and various specialists many times throughout the last few years.
Only one consultant is any good and thankfully she travels to smaller regional hospitals occasionally. The rest do OK on the 4 days a week they earn fortunes for and demigod status. then leave all the work to nurses and underlings.

Much of the space is sold off to outside companies: M&S, WH Smith, Costa, Car Parks, vending machines, all ridiculously priced, they take money out of the NHS and it goes to the companies involved.

Cuts to services - without doubt - killed my mum and that was 17 years ago, and in London.
It has got worse since then and this isn't the worst part of the country.

Now (Check out the Naylor report) May wants more of the same. Just like Police stations, she wants to sell the buildings at cut prices to new companies who are....
well, who are they? You'll never know.

I'm happy for you that you have experienced only good things. Millions haven't. I definitely haven't.

Not a single public service is safe in Tory hands. They are so far in the westminster bubble, ordinary people (ie US) don't appear on the radar.

Come Friday morning Abbott might be in charge of Policing and the Anti-Terror strategy.

The link you posted is a typical misrepresentation (twisting) of facts.
Report Gin June 5, 2017 4:22 PM BST
Clearly there are big discrepancies in the quality of service around the country and we can all only speak of our own experiences.

In my case, if I need to see my GP I call at 8.30 am and without fail I have been able to see them the same day.

I have recently been referred to hospital for test/scans and have only ever had to wait a few weeks. During my most recent visit two weeks ago, they decided that I need to go in for treatment. They offered me a date in July which I have had to get put back as I am going to America!

I realise that I am lucky to get this sort of service and am not doubting that others have a considerably worse time than me but I am posting this to show that not everybody’s NHS experience is bad.
Report STUDYFORM June 5, 2017 4:27 PM BST
It's 8.00 for my surgery, Gin. but it's virtually impossible to get through before every appointment is gone, what's left is a locum - so getting to build a relationship with your GP is tricky.

I had a heart 'stress test' 4 weeks ago - could only be done 15 miles away, in the middle of a working day. I'm STILL waiting for results.

The thing is NOBODY's experience should be bad!

Have a nice trip, btw :)

Report STUDYFORM June 5, 2017 6:52 PM BST
The cuts made, in the NHS especially, but also in police, defence, education, welfare (and everything else except for MPs and their friends and family)
are far bigger than the numbers of increase you're so obsessed with.

None of this has happened overnight, it started with Thatcher, went on through her b'stard son Blair and hasn't stopped.

Everything has come together to make most people poorer than ever, more stressed than ever and now less happy than ever (despite Cameron's attempt to do happiness surveys).

We all argue, they all have a nice job, good income, 6 months holiday a year.

Get rid of all the liars, then the rest will get better, possibly quicker than it got so bad.
