Watched it.
Loved it, yet again. Throughout the documentary I couldn't help but think of Sparky and smile, as when it was first on some 8 or so years ago and I was constantly raving about it in the Chit Chat pub and other threads, he kept teasing me about the Chinchilla in Vanilla! |

For any boxing fans out there who haven't seen it yet, please try to.
It's such a good re-telling of the time of 2 great heavyweights and the most fearsome boxing match of all time. As Ferdie Pacheco said "Just watch the 14th round. Then you get why boxing is so revered" - or words like that. A magnificent documentary. |

5th time I've seen this. So great - even better than the Ali-Foreman doc.
That bit with Ali talking about the Klu Klux Klan...ffs...he really was a five star nutter! ![]() Some of the footage from the first fight is brilliant - angles you don't see in the available version. It was an appalling decision by Ali to antagonise Frazier, and it cost him. "I'm a bad man - I'm badder than Burt Lancaster!" ![]() Towards the end, Frazier looked like a monument......tin of corn for lunch in the gym... |
