Anyone have experience with these swindlers?
For the third year running they have taken £35 out of my account for a service/product I no longer take from them - Internet Security package - they are absolutely impossible to get hold of by email or phone - I have done everything possible , I believe , to cancel the product/service/payment.
I spent an hour yesterday on the phone to my bank getting passed from pillar to post - for the second year running - explaining the situation - yet they tell me that because it's a recurring payment they cannot stop it - they will refund me the £35 and pursue the funds from DR/Kaspersky's bank - they will put a block on it , but they said all this last year and Kaspersky are devious - they emailed me to tell me that the card they normally take the payment from was no longer valid and could I please provide them with an alternative form of payment - which of course I completely ignored(the account had been closed 3 months previous due to fraud and another reopened) but lo and behold they somehow got hold of the new account and took the money - how can this situation possibly be allowed to continue?
How are the authorities not closing down this band of thieves?

raise a complaint against your bank with your bank, they will have a month to sort it,
then if its not sorted take it to financial services ombudsman this will cost your bank £500 and incentivise them to sort it, and cost you nothing |

How can they Possibly take the money from a Different/New Account ,its impossible unless same a/c number

Sounds very strange. I would change to another bank, I think. Besides you can often get 100 quid or more for switching.
