THE car which Princess Diana died in was reportedly a dangerous “rebuilt wreck†but concerns about its safety were ignored, a program on French television reported.
The program, M6 called Death Of Diana: The Incredible Revelation, aired claims that just two months before Princess Diana’s death on August 31, 1997, there was reportedly a warning that the car was not roadworthy.

20 year anniversary (is anniversary the right word?) this year...... so expect a of of "incredible revelations" as the date gets closer.
Probably a rebuilt write off.
I've never seen any figures to suggest these repaired wrecks are any more unsafe than regular vehicles.
I know people are reluctant to buy these total loss vehicles, but they're subject to the same scrutiny than any other vehicle undergoes in an MOT test.
