a vertical straight line was above where the sun appeared?
You can see it in first photos - like the atmosphere caught some of the sun's image and kept it, it shifted up a few times and you had a stripe appear. |

description on google. A sun pillar is a vertical shaft of light extending upward or downward from the sun. Typically seen during sunrise or sunset, sun pillars form when sunlight reflects off the surfaces of falling ice crystals associated with thin, high-level clouds (like cirrostratus clouds). |
