She is a pain, hectoring people for answers before they start speaking. Eveybody wants to look harder than Paxman these days and it detracts imo.

It was a party political broadcast for remainers and the Labour party.

They spend 30 seconds on housing when low interest rates causing ultra high prices were never mentioned.

This after having 20 minutes on foodbanks saying people use them because of benefit cuts.

These idiots cannot join the dots. High house prices and high rents is a key reason people use foodbanks not benefit cuts.

I can't listen to any debate on the economy. All I hear is people wanting more and more money from the Govt i.e. the taxpayer.

BBC have a story on their news app of a single mum, 2 kids, renting in London. 2 bed property £1400 a month. She earns £640 a month and gets £950 a month in Housing Benefit.

The story is about her having to borrow from others to pay for food etc.

A few questions:

1) Where's the father of her kids and why isn't he paying?
2) Why no mention of other benefits she will get i.e. council tax benefit/child tax credit?
3) Why not move out of London and cut the rent in half? (probably cos she wants to be near friends etc..)

People seem to want everything on a silver platter.

Gov was paying 25 billion in housing benefit alone, in 2015. This will be growing fast and is surely unsustainable.

Politics is the gutter of civilisation and they treat the electorate with contempt.

the biggest freebies,benefits handed out to people in the last 10 years are to BTL landlords ,the taxable rent take has doubled in the last 10 years to just under 10 billion

maybe the media should double underline benefits such as
help to buy
inheritance tax cuts
corporation tax cuts
personel threshold cuts
green tariffs,solar etc
