Was reading about some mosques in Scotland and how they are funded and the controversy

It's like they got built pretending to just need somewhere to go but we all know what goes on now

Glasgow mosque controversy

Controversy

In February 2016, Habib ur Rehman Rauf, religious head of the mosque, was quoted in international media[2] supporting[3][4] the actions of Mumtaz Qadri who assassinated Pakistani politician Salman Taseer whilst acting as his security guard. Qadri had disagreed with Taseer's opposition to Pakistan's blasphemy law.

In April 2016 International Business Times revealed that the mosque held annual conferences for British branches of the group Khatme Nabuwwat. The mosque president, Mohammed Shafi Kausar denied the existence of the group. On the other hand, the mosque refused to attend an anti-extremism event despite invitation, following the "religiously prejudiced" murder of a Glaswegian Ahmadi by a Sunni Muslim.

History[edit]
Prior to its construction, there was no mosque large enough to fulfill the needs of the Muslims in the city centre of Edinburgh. As the Muslim population increased a large mosque became viable. Eventually, the project was able to purchase land from the City Council with the proviso that an existing listed building be preserved and used. The project ran into funding difficulties; but these were solved when King Fahd of Saudi Arabia donated 90% of the project's total cost. On 31 July 1998 (8 Rabi' al-thani 1419) the mosque was opened by his son Prince Abdul Aziz Bin Fahd, who was also the project patron.[5]

I always shudder when I see those insects which place eggs inside a victim then they grow and eat the carrier.

Awful thing is nature.

ISIS sprayed on Glasgow Mosque just on Saturday

ISIS graffiti has been daubed on the walls of Glasgow Central Mosque.

The writing and loveheart were scrawled on a wall of Scotland's largest mosque in the Gorbals.

It was reported to police on Saturday.

Groups associated with ISIS are understood to have claimed responsibility for the explosion at the Manchester Arena, with supporters celebrating the suicide bomb incident.

A Glasgow City Council spokesman said: "We will be out to remove the graffiti as soon as possible."

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "We can confirm this was reported to us on Saturday, May 20.

"Police inquiries are ongoing."

At least 22 people, including children, have died and dozens are injured after a suicide bomber struck a crowd at the Manchester Arena at the end of a gig by US pop star Ariana Grande.

It will be largely forgotten within a week - pushed to one side.  After all - May is safe.  Don't even think about the life those severely injured face.

Given that tobacco products can be 3 or 4 times cheaper in some parts of the EU it makes sense for any smoker to leave a bit of room in a case.
The simple fact is two trips max a year is well sufficent for personal use, can't imagine customs caring a jot unless it isn't for personal use.
