It depends what you mean by terrorists lfc. The Shia regimes have not really attacked targets outside the middle east. There is a long-running cicil war going on in Israel/Palestine,where,as happens in all civil wars, both sides have outside backers.

look you idiot, the Americans are trying to destroy ISIS and other terrorist organisations funded and helped by the Iranian government
The Saudi government with all its faults is trying to do the same, and is an ally to America in this.

The Government of Iran do not fund or help ISIS lfc.

Iran is a Shia Nation, and is thus regarded as heretic by ISIS.

you will find I said that America are trying to destroy ISIS, Iran fund groups like hamas who in their turn fund ISIS
iRAN had extensive funding and ties to Al Quaeda which evolved into ISIS

Iran needs ISIS and other jihadist groups in order to extend into Syria and Iraq..Iran is the greatest source of terrorism in the region

Iran sends its forces, money and whatever it can to help Assad, not to those attempting to build separate states within Syria's borders.

the Islamic state was born out of Al Queada, funded by Iran
that may seem surprising given that Iran is Shia, but over the last 20 years they have provided support financial, material, technological and other support services to AQ

ITS an unexpected relationship, but that's how it is.
By:

When: 23 May 17 13:07
That's not how it is at all.

The Islamic State was born out of Al Qaeda? What planet are you actually on?
By:
lfc1971
When: 23 May 17 13:15
Look, the Islamic state was born out of a global jihad against the west, that is what you have to remember in the case of Iran and its goals.
It is more complex than simply a Iran being Shia, they have provided funds and support to AQ in Iraq, they are now involved in Syria and other parts of the middle east, but it is the west and democracy that it is really against, and will fund, and support, any terrorist organisation in the region that is anti American and the west
That is what they have done for decades, and what they are doing now
By:

When: 23 May 17 13:16
No it isn't mate. You couldn't be more wrong, Iran simply does not fund or aid and abet Sunni terrorist groups.
By:
lfc1971
When: 23 May 17 13:17
Iranian agents are directly giving weapons , and selling weapons to ISIS  for oil now
By:
lfc1971
When: 23 May 17 13:20
Iran needs the threat of Sunni terrorist groups to stay in Syria. It tried to portray itself as helping the effort to defeat ISIS
That was a lie
By:
lfc1971
When: 23 May 17 13:21
In Iraq Iran have never dislodged any ISIS group from any significant territory
they don't want to
By:
jed.davison
When: 23 May 17 13:23
So Iranian agents are giving weapons to ISIS in exchange for oil? You're getting silly now mate, Iran doesn't need Syrian or Iraqi oil ffs, they have 10% of the world's known remaining oil deposits in Iran.
By:
lfc1971
When: 23 May 17 13:24
The support that ISIS received in its formative years from Iran was part of a broader alliance that ISIS foarmed with al Queada. Iran tried to portray itself as in the vanguard of the fight against ISIS, it was a lie
By:
jed.davison
When: 23 May 17 13:24
Iran is not in Syria to defeat ISIS, it is there to shore up the Assad regime, with which it has always been friendly, and concentrates its fire on the non-aligned rebel groups which have risen up against him.
By:
jed.davison
When: 23 May 17 13:25
You are just making stuff up now mate, and however much you try to convince yourself it's true, it is not.
By:

The support that ISIS received in its formative years from Iran was part of a broader alliance that ISIS foarmed with al Queada

This is quite frankly utter bilge.

jed, every country needs oil, and every individual within those countries, and governments like money
who could deny that?
By:
jed.davison
When: 23 May 17 13:27
Of course people like money, that's not in dispute.

What is in dispute - and again is quite laughable - is whether, as you claim, Iran exchanges weapons for oil with ISIS.
By:
lfc1971
When: 23 May 17 13:29
jed its this simple Iran and its allied militias in Iraq do not extend themselves to fight ISIS, they don't do it
By:
jed.davison
When: 23 May 17 13:30
I just told you why. It's quite straightforward.
By:
lfc1971
When: 23 May 17 13:31
jed when Iran exchanges weapons for oil who do you think gets the money, no its not the Iranian people, its individuals...they don't carte where the money comes from, shia or ****, its all the same to them

Its may come as a surprise, they are not that religious.
