I can't even remember the lyrics, possibly night and day...but having listened to the Frank Sinatra song of that title, it doesn't sound like it! |

The lady was blonde and in her 40s / 50s and sang in an operatic type voice, while the gentleman was distinguished and possibly in his 50s.

The first song is Please Don't Go which I first heard by Donald Peers in 1969 as it hit the pop charts which I was always interested in but I think the tune is much earlier. maybe from an opera?

This song has been going through my head for years but I can't find out what it is. Remember it was sung usually in clubs by couples similar to the couple on TGOD.It was a fast paced song and I think it had the words poor little donkey in it. Any idea?
