If a terrorist killed 1.3 million a year we'd be quick to tag them.
Why is all our fear tied up with bearded stubborn Killers in an obscure country in the MiddleEast ?
All the tv reports on trivial incidents that are forgotten by next week.
the car accidents are irrelevant? other stuff kills more people in a year.
prescription medicines kills more in a year.
Shouldn't our focus be on fixing the big mess rather than the small fringe stuff.

Terrorism kills a lot less people than a lot of other things. Your comparison is stupid, because terrorists only manage a handful of killings every year(theyll have to work a lot harder to kill in the tune of millions). If you had comapred it to people dying by falling off their bed, terrorism would still have lost(at least in the case of US)
The thing is, car accidents or people falling off their beds do not instill fear. They do not make anyone more or less powerful. They do not make people rich. Terrorism does all of this. This has been talked about a number of times. War is a business. Islamic terrorism is the most recent way of making money out of it. If people can believe that the world's most wanted man was captured just like that and then dumped into the sea, they can be made to believe anything. And then they are made to fight it. And pay for it. In the last century it was us fighting. Now we have learnt to make others fight and jump in to collect the bonuses. With the way things are going, we'll have to pay up again to fight a few more wars in Europe, and my guess is it will be in the name of islamic terrorism. Business is booming. |

The most recent example of making money out of conflicts is Mali. Macron just visited. French forces have been bombing them for some time now. Theyve called the germans to provide support. And the US us prepared to accelerate support in the region. As long as the poeple are convinced islamic extremism is out to wipe them, weapons manufacturers will milk it.

The thing is, car accidents or people falling off their beds do not instill fear. They do not make anyone more or less powerful. They do not make people rich. Terrorism does all of this.
Or perhaps it's because people are clued up enough that they can rationalise accidental death - but find it hard to accept that largely innocent people are murdered in the name of mythical gods. |

detraveller, you are quite correct, war/terrorism, deliberate mass murder bear no comparison to accidental death, Zorro likes to 'poke people' to get a reaction, it's just what he does.
The biggest problem we have at present is Globalisation despite the Brussels mobs attempts to control a sizeable chunk of it, it has challenged competing Global economies and only served to drive 'Military Keynesianism' further into oblivion leaving a state a state of a 'permanent arms economy' which is legitimised in many ways, deceit (WMDs) demonisation of of other states, groups etc,etc, if they don't exist they will be made to exist. As long as there are economies challenging the capitalist 'status quo' of which there are many, the conflicts will rage around the world every hour of every day. Our multi capitalist system/s demands it. One MOAB= 15 million Dollars, ffs.  As you have pointed out war is BIG business, THE BIGGEST short term economic fix in the past, is now a permanent, capitalist growth player in world economies. Furthermore a 'Legitimation crisis' has spawned (in no small part) because of this and mistrust of political institutions is at an all time low, resulting in the schisms we observe and experience daily. |

The people who manipulate the masses do not need to come to the front. All they have to do is have the politicians in their pockets and let them work with the magic of democracy.
As i siad, Islamic extremism is the most recent episode in the money making machine. When that's over or milked enough, there will be something else. This generation will probably live their lives blaming Islam. The next will probably die blaming this generation for its warmongering in the fight against Islam. There will always be conflict. I have no issue with someone controlling the world with his power or influence. But I do have an issue with people helping them do it like joining the military, questioning human rights in other countries but not their own country's involvement etc. And the biggest question i am yet to get a good answer for is why are we so scared of wars when they come home, but are happy to term them as liberation of a country as long as they are far far away :/ |

Rothschild family is one that is prominent. there are thousands restraining billions.they show themselves by their attitude to their fellow men. narcissism.they've lost their humanity, their empathy. |

Samuel P Huntington says its about organized violence, something Europe has carried out with great success over the last few centuries. And that's not really far fetched. A guy rams a truck into civilians and everyone is p1ssed. The govt spends billios in weapons to suspect countries and no one bothers. As i said earlier, as long as the people keep believing what they are told, and keep fighting for it, you dont need Satan. All you need is someone with a brain who knows how misery and suffering is vital to making money and wielding power.
