Lead singer with Soundgarden(black hole sun) died yesterday at the terribly young age of 52.Extremely talented and one of my rock star "heroes".As an aside Chris was voted the most handsome rock star of the 90's.

One of my favourite bands. I actually saw his post on FB last night about playing Detroit and was thinking to check if they were visiting here any time soon. Police have reported that Cornell’s wife called a family friend to check on his well-being following Soundgarden’s concert in Detroit on Wednesday night. He was reported to be found unresponsive on the bathroom floor, and pronounced dead on the scene. An early statement said the family would be working closely with the medical examiner to determine the cause of death. |
